Overall its a good controller, the glaring issue being durability, and im not saying that like i smash my controllers. This has been a known and on going thing with this controller. Xbox uses some plastic connectors inside the controller for some internals like the bumper instead of a lightweight metal so after not even really extensive use you begin to get stick drift and unresponsive bumpers. If you have some kind warranty to be able to get replacements like through best buy then your generally fine, but otherwise not worth the price.

Great controller. The rubberized grips feel good in your hands and it has a very well constructed, sturdy feel to it. The battery life is very long. The case and the charging cable are well built and a very nice touch. I like the fact that Microsoft gave you different sticks to swap out with convex and concave tops, depending on your particular preference, as well as one thumbstick that is taller than the others, for more precise and quicker movement. And that they are attached via magnet is very cool and works great. Then there are the underside paddles for your fingertips, which at first are difficult to get used to, but once you do, help out so much so that you dont have to lift your thumb off the right stick when crouching, interacting, reloading etc. Game changing. The only reason I dont give this controller 5 stars is because around 11 months after owning, both sticks now drift. Do yourself a favor and buy the extended warranty.

As advertised. Paddles are a must for competitive gaming. These typically have quality control issues but have no experienced anything yet (have previously returned two controllers with the extended warranty via BestBuy where the bumper stopped working).

I liked the elite 1, 2 and now I must say this is the best iteration yet. The differences from the 2 are very minuscule. You will have to buy the series two complete component pack if you don't already have the pieces you need from a previous elite controller otherwise your controller will be unplayable.

The Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core (White) is a solid “mid-elite” controller: it brings many of the high-end features of the full Elite line, with compromises mostly in bundled accessories and price. If you value comfort, customization, and flexibility, it delivers excellent value. But it’s not perfect — there are trade-offs, especially around durability and cost if you want the full set of extras. Overall, a strong choice if you use it enough to get your money’s worth.

Really great controller! Has a premium grip and good weight to it. Not built like those cheap plastic ones. The trigers and analog sticks are reslly good out the box but once you customize them theyre on a different level!

Honestly, this is my favorite Xbox controller I’ve ever had. Love the fact that it doesn’t use batteries, you can easily charge it. It charges quickly, and it lasts around 40 hours. Stick drift would be my only real concern as all my previous Xbox controllers have had quite a bit of it after many many months of use. But so far 4 months in, 0 stick drift, but too early to tell if it’ll be a problem. I would also recommend buying the elite series case and components from Xbox as that has really elevated my experience with the controller. Don’t cheap out and buy from unauthorized sellers, I promise you it’s worth it. I think my only real problem with it, is that it’s on the expensive side. If you have the money for it, I’d say go for it. It’s the best that Xbox themselves provide, but not the best on the market.

Top quality controller. Easy to change joysticks and/or paddles. Rear paddles are great when I play Call of Duty, but what I like the most is that you can adjust the grips (LF, LR) at three different positions, what it helps to shot faster. However, it is not worth it for almost 200 dls.

Great feeling controller . More customizable than the previous gen. Decent weight and less finicky. A bit pricy for what you’re actually paying for but still decent. It doesn’t have the same level of innovation as the basic PS5 controller such as gyroscopes but it feels great in hand.

The Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller is hands down the best controller I’ve ever used! From the moment I picked it up, the premium build quality was obvious. The textured grip feels amazing, and the adjustable tension thumbsticks provide incredible precision—perfect for competitive gaming. One of my favorite features is the remappable paddles on the back, which give me a serious edge in FPS and action games by allowing quick inputs without taking my thumbs off the sticks. The trigger stops also make a huge difference in fast-paced shooters! The 40-hour rechargeable battery life is fantastic, and I love the convenience of the included charging dock. Plus, the customization options in the Xbox Accessories app let me fine-tune everything to my exact preferences. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a hardcore competitor, the Elite Series 2 delivers an unbeatable experience. It’s a game-changer, and I can’t imagine going back to a regular controller after using it. Highly recommend!

This has been my first xbox elite controller and it has been the best controller ever. It feels amazing in hand and has a nice weight to it! The sticks don’t stick at all and they glide around with ease! I also love that I can change the d-pad and the analog sticks. I got the white controller and ordered some purple paddles, analog sticks, and d-pad and it looks amazing! Would definitely recommend this controller to anyone that enjoys to game!

Instantly you feel the qaulity of this controller! The response on this compared to the regular ones is insane! I noticed just playing NHL22 the response.. Great options as you can have 3 profiles and then the default one. The triggers are awesome! You can customize your sensitivity and comes with a carry case as it should for $180 which is the only CON about this as no controller should cost that.. Now i always wanted this but never wanted to spend the money but the wifey got this as an Xmas gift :) So if you have the money to spend go for it... now probably get the 2 year warranty next week as she didn't buy it but based off my experience on regular controllers might just do so since this is a high end controller...Impressive upgrade from the last one! This is def a GAME CHANGER!!! 40hours of battery life Customized Options INSTANTLY notice the response & quality Easy to swap out buttons Wireless charger Also can charge in carrying case with USB

While the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller is an exceptional gaming accessory, there is one aspect that could be improved upon. The controller's premium price point may be a deterrent for some gamers. The higher cost may limit its accessibility to a wider audience, especially those on a tight budget. However, considering the remarkable features and customization options it offers, the Elite Series 2 controller can still be seen as a worthwhile investment for serious gamers who prioritize performance and personalization. Ultimately, while the price may be a drawback for some, the overall quality and features of the controller make it a compelling choice for dedicated gamers.

This controller is excellent from the standpoint of functionality, ergonomics, and customizability. It has everything from multiple profiles, customizable triggers, adjustable stick tension, swappable D-Pads, and 2-4 paddles depending on user preference. It's also basically plug and play on PC. Where it falls short is build quality. Despite being quite an expensive controller, it has only a 1 year warranty, which admittedly is up from the 90 days offered on the Elite v1. I have returned 7 of these in the last 4 years - they do not last. Stick drift, sticking triggers, and unresponsive bumpers (typically R1) are the most common issues. I don't think any of them have lasted a full year. They're also the same issues I had on the Elite v1. Given that it's almost a decade since the original Elite was released, I think it's clear the manufacturer isn't willing or able to address the quality control issues. This is underscored by the fact that a bare bones version (the Core) was released without the Series 2 accessories. Presumably this was to offer a lower cost option to people whose controllers had failed, and were out of warranty.

Best Xbox controller that exists. Do not waste your money on standard controllers or knockoff brands. The elite two is of such superior quality that it would be blasphemy to use anything else. The controller is hefty in your hands. Nice weight and feels great. The paddles on the back have excellent customization. You can even alter the buttons on the front to be whatever you want. Fully customizable. You can have infinite presents from what I saw, and you can have 3 active presets and can switch to them at will by a press of a button on the controller. It has clear indicator lights that will tell you which one you have on. This headset also works perfectly with PC as well, if you have Bluetooth capeablities or plug it in. I also use it to connect to my phone. This controller is fantastic! Buy one and you won’t regret it!

I've had multiples of this controller and there is one major issue... Stick Drift. If they could fix the stick drift issue this would be a perfect controller. I have had them drift straight out of the box. It is pretty dumb that Microsoft hasn't fixed this issue.
