Improvement over first series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great must have controller if you play enough Xbox games. Good weight to the controller. I have no problems with the grip. Even better customization. Great battery life.

Best value for money - against competition
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went back and forth with the scuf instinct pro. Ended up with this since I like to be able to take off the paddles. The scuf paddles are great if you use them all the time, but for certain games I like the option. Also the software is really good, gives you options. The built in battery is overlooked but I find it extremely useful and never have to think about it. Really good value for money if you can grab it on sale.

Much better than standard controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this is the controller that should come with the Xbox Series X as standard, it has a high end feel, like the console, which deserves a special controller. It has incredible customization options, has a quality feel in hand, comes with wireless charger and if it lasts as long as my Series 1 controller (which still works perfectly to this day) then you can't go wrong. The PS5 controller may be better than the standard Xbox controller, but this controller trumps them all. Highly recommended despite the price.

Works amazingly. Durability is sus for sure
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These controllers are great. Pros: Customizable Feels great Love the grips Cons: About to get my 4th one is 6 years. Had 1 with bad stick drift after a year (common issues) 1 both bumpers stopped working consistantly (common) Was able to use paddles to solve this problem. 1 that the house cracked (might have came that way), but spread. Treated the controller carefully too. So, love the controller. But i am also prepare to replace it every year lol.

One glaring issue
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I really did love the feel of this controller. Add in the ability to customize your joysticks, dpads, and paddles really had me happy with the purchase. Unfortunately after only a couple months, my right bumper mysteriously stopped registering for certain presses and eventually just stopped working. After looking at forums and various reviews, I’ve noticed this is a common problem with the controller which makes me wonder if this means they released a faulty controller with a $200 price tag and didn’t care. At the end of the day, it is a very solid controller and when it worked, I loved the feel of it. Unfortunately that doesn’t justify a $200 dollar price tag when there is such a glaring issue that multiple people have dealt with. Microsoft, hopefully with the next elite controller set, this will not be an issue. If you don’t need your bumpers, this controller is perfect, but most games I play do so it’s a no go for me.

Elite!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller! The weight, the bulkiness, very durable, and yet comfortable. My main complaint is that its got a classic elite controller issue. The previous model always had problem with the bumper buttons and joysticks. This model currently has no problems with the joystick but instead the L Bumper. Elite controller buttons are always getting jammed or stuck

I'd buy again.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was on the hook due to price but after purchasing I was surprised how much I enjoyed using this controller. I like the different opinions available to me. The controller itself is nice and comfortable. You have the option of changing the joysticks, triggers can be set to different sensitivity, paddles can be set for quick access during game play. You can also go into the controller settings for different joystick game play options. I don't see myself using a regular controller again. There's also a nice case with a dock to recharge your controller.

The Honest Review
|Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had elite controllers since day 1 so I'll be very honest about the controller itself without being biased in any way. The controller is a great upgrade from the regular one but it does comes with its downsides. One being the build quality over time, the controller seems to deteriorate at a quick amount of speed after a lots of use. I've had many with stick drift out of the box more frequently compared to buying a normal controller, bumpers wear out and give way and buttons do as well. That's the bad but the good is ease of use, the button mapping with the pads and their feel of how nice and metal they sound when you click them. The way you can personalize the sticks heights, and dead zone, and the actual app used for it is very intuitive. Overall, it depends on you if you need to upgrade for whatever circumstances you're in but the price tag is very costly given how the issues i presented do seem to kind of not make it a somewhat justifiable purchase but I'll leave that up to y'all

A great controller with great customization!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never thought I would spend so much on a controller, but after seeing all the great reviews on it I decided to give it a try. Besides being lightweight and comfortable to hold, it comes with a case and charger (and btw the battery lasts a long time). On top of that you can customize the sticks, the d-pad, the resistance on the triggers, and program the back paddles. The great thing is it will hold a default mapping as well as three other mappings that you can set yourself and switch between with the push of a button. Didn't think I needed it, and probably don't, but I love having it.

Elite controller good or bad? Well...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller its self is very confortable, and easy to set up. Having the option to choose your trigger pull and analog/joystick setup/range is nice as well. My ONLY complain is the stick drift is absolutely terrible after using the control for a few months. I feel like im constantly having to go back and replace the controller cause of the stick drift on the either joysticks. Besides that the controller is very good.

Works great so far!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best xbox controller. Best feel in the hands, love the paddles, long battery life, and charging case. Downside is that theyre known to have problems a year or so down the road. Not a problem with my Total Tech subscription. You get a free two year protection plan. So I’ll get a new one if this one if starts giving me problems. In the meantime, best controller by far I’ve played with.

Nothing else compares
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.*Will update this review at 6 months First impression is that nothing else compares. This is my first elite controller and after holding the original xbox controller, the difference is felt right away. I dont own an xbox, so i use this while playing on PC. With that being said, the ability to remap pretty much any button to any function you would normally use on keyboard on to the controller, is phenomenal from a quality of life perspective. Construction is sturdy, and the textured rubber grips that wrap around where you hold gives a next level of comfort. Being able to adjust the tension and force needed to move the joystick is a great feature. The soft-touch face is nice, but i can see this becoming a fingerprint magnet. Buttons are nice and tactile, and all the changeable parts are magnetic so you wont have to worry about snapping anything. A huge plus is the carrying case which doubles as a charging station via usb-c, and a holder for other accessories (the charging dock inside can also be used independently from the case). A few cons, though its a bit nit-picky are the length of the paddles. This isnt too big of a deal, but i had to readjust my grip and how i hold the controller to press the paddles on the back without my fingers interfering one another (i have medium-large hands). A USB dongle to connect the controller to pc is not included and would have to be ordered separately, which can be a con to some. The longevity of this controller is yet to be seen from personal experience, as i have read reviews of this controller being DOA, buttons not working after a few months, or the terrible stick drift. Honestly, i don't see myself buying another controller after this as this is truly the ultimate device for handheld/controller gaming. Is it worth the upgrade from an original controller? For my application, yes! Should you buy it? Depends on what you're looking to do with it.

An elite 1st party controller!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From a 3rd party controller to this it’s an absolute game changer. It’s slightly heavier than a standard 1st party Xbox controller but well worth it for what you get inside. The custom light mod on the Xbox accessories app is so cool to use I rock a red color and it really makes it pop with the black controller. Plus the sensitivity on the triggers is such a cool advantage in FPS games. I highly recommend this controller to any serious gamer especially if your on PC and to pair it I use an 8Bitdo adapter which is also available through Best Buy which is a much better connection than standard Bluetooth through your PC.

Outdated but still great
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 shows its age by lacking hall effect or TMR sticks. Thus it is very susceptible to stick drift. Reliabilty is also an issue as well. I lucked out I guess as mine lasted about a year before getting stick drift. Battery wise its still the best pro controller Ive tried on Xbox and Ive used almost all of them. Still a decent pro controller especially if purchased on sale. I strongly recommend buying the Best Buy warranty just in case it does have issues.

Absolute Elite
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 5th Elite controller. They're very good for competitive players, but can easily use them for casual laid back gaming. Has plenty of customizations and sure is pretty to look at. I would recommend getting the Geeksquad Protection though, as the controllers tend to drift after a year of use.

Xbox Elite Gaming Controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second elite controller I’ve bought. My first one I purchased a long time ago and it finally gave out. Instead of trying something else I bought another one because in my opinion there is no better controller. You won’t regret this purchase.
