A good controller with great software.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the controller works well. The paddles and extra thumb sticks that are included are a nice plus. Setting the controller up is incredibly easy. The best feature is battery life. I have been using this controller for a year and even while playing 15-20 hours a week I’ll never have to charge it more than once a week. The controller can also be used wired while it’s charging, so you don’t even have down time between charges. The only reason for a 4 star rating versus a 5 is because of stick drift. After maybe 3 months of regular use, I started getting stuck drift in the right analog stick. It has a warranty, and Microsoft will fix it, but you have to send off the controller for who knows how long. For a $200 controller, stick drift should not be an issue. And if it happens outside of the warranty window, you’re stuck with it. Microsoft at the very least needs to sell new pots for the analog sticks that you can replace yourself. With that being said, you can counteract the stick drift by changing your dead zone settings. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and will probably buy another one whenever this one finally bites the dust.

Great gaming controller.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A solid controller for gaming, I like the interchangeable accessories and the charching station it comes with. It does lack some of the features from the new series x controllers but it is still a very good controller.

Awesome controller for PC gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s heavier than a regular controller but definitely a lot more grip and customization available. It feels comfortable while gaming and having it connect to the pc via wireless usb n gaming with a 65” 4k tv is awesome. I would definitely recommend this controller for pc.

Really nice, but pricey
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Xbox Elite controller. I'm not a heavy duty gamer, but the customization and different stick/pad options are nice. The unit has nice weight and doesn't seem to drift. Hard to say if the price really justifies the upgrade from a standard controller in my case, but if you're a serious gamer I think it would.

Good controller for PC or XBox
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller, long battery life and easily customizable. If you can look past the price I would say this is the best controller out for PC as far as battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, and versatility

Into Competitive Gaming? This Is Not For You.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My experience with this controller has been rough to say the least… I play a couple videogames competitively and was looking for a heavy-duty, durable controller. I thought that the Elite Series 2 would be an excellent product to meet my needs. However, the quality control on these controllers is not great. I went through not one, not two, but three of these controllers only to give up on them entirely. On the first one, the shoulder buttons would spam their input if held down, and the “A” button was inconsistent. So, I decided maybe it was a fluke and got another in hopes it would work. Unfortunately, that one had stick drift right out of the box and again the button pad was inconsistent. I luckily had geek squad protection, so I went to get a replacement. However, AGAIN the controller had issues with the sticks, and this time trigger buttons. After that, I basically just let it collect dust on a shelf. I’ve given up on this controller. Just to be clear, I DO NOT recommend this controller in the slightest, but if you are still considering purchasing it, I can elaborate some of the good aspects. The weight and feel of the controller is lovely. The materials used make it “feel” premium. The battery life is great, and the options to switch out various components and tweak the stiffness of the sticks is a nice touch. The companion windows app that comes with it works great too, and it’s very easy to configure. When I did get a unit without stick drift, I was disappointed with the handling. There is a sort of dead space around the neutral area of the stick and require a bit of extra movement for input to register. Not a huge issue in most games, but if you are considering it for a game like Rocket League or any other precision driven game, it’s not worth it. Overall, if you want to take your chances with it for some casual gaming, go for it. If you want something with reliability, go for the regular Xbox Series A controller or Razer equivalent.

Next version needs Hall
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Minor stick drift until some tuning. I owned the previous elite so I knew what I was getting. I just love the weight, build quality (less the sticks) and MS needs to use Hall next time. Perfect controller if they did.

Better than the series 1
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace my series one controller (rubber grips were coming off). This one seems better built and has more flexibility to set it up for what games you play and how you want to play them. Built in battery lasts for days, even with long sessions of gaming. It's a bit more expensive than the series one, but with no battery to replace and it comes with it's own charging base it is worth it for heavy gamers.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to share my positive experience with the Xbox controller I recently purchased. It is incredibly convenient, customizable, and easy to use. I particularly appreciate the ability to choose a D-pad that suits the game I'm playing, rather than being limited to a single cross or round pad. The round pad works best for fighting games, while the cross D-pad is ideal for older games where diagonal movement isn't necessary. Using it on my Windows PC has been seamless; it connected instantly without any issues. The availability of downloadable software to customize the back paddles is also a significant plus. While I personally haven't used this feature, it's definitely super useful for accessibility and for those who need it.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the weight to the controller as well as the grip but the sticks last for way longer then standard controllers I’m kind of an aggressive player/ user so the durability goes a long way controller lasts through all of my gaming sessions with no issues

My brother loves this controller!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got my brother the Microsoft Elite Series 2 controller for Christmas, and it's a good boost. The build quality seems strong and classy, and the adjustable thumbsticks and rear paddles are quite handy for gaming. My brother claims the battery life is also very good. It's a tad expensive, but considering how customizable it is, it's worth it. He loves it, therefore I'd say it was a great gift!

Like it more than my Scuf
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My scuf stopped working so I bought one of these to use with my pc when I want to game from the couch. I had the scuf impact, and I find the comfort of the elite to be better, the customization is easier, and it just works better on PC. Maybe a tad expensive. I really like the swappable parts (thumbsticks and d-pad) that come in the box, and easily adjustable triggers.

Great Controller for PC Gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was using a PS4 controller wired to laptop. Found this “PRO” controller and knew I needed to give it a try. Hated the wire and wanted back buttons. This is a excellent controller which feels and looks great. User configurability is great. The buttons and sticks that can be changed out are super easy to do. Battery life is outstanding. I use it mainly for travel and the protective case isn’t overly huge. Only had it for a short period so can’t comment on longevity and problems others have had with buttons and sticks going bad. Can’t say one bad thing so far about this controller. I price matched and paid $139.99. Standard Microsoft warranty now 1 year suggest paying an extra $20 by calling Microsoft Xbox tech support to extend warranty for a total of 3 years. I believe you have 45 days or so after purchase to add this extended coverage. Also recommend using the Microsoft wireless adapter ($25 extra) instead of the Bluetooth connection. Heard you can have connection issues using standard Bluetooth. All in all great controller upgrade and at the moment would recommend.

Great Product!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product!! I use to have the original elite controller and it was great, but they have made so much improvements in functionality and feel. I'm so in love with this controller! It is a bit expensive, but it's worth it if you are looking into competition controllers. I also have the razer wolverine competition controller and this is far superior!!! Great buy! I totally recommend!!!
