Xbox elite series 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Many people told me not to purchase due to a common stick drift problem that comes about. But after almost a year with it I’ve never experienced any problems it’s been very reliable comfortable in hand and it is very customizable

One of My favorite Controllers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to get another one because my Puppy chewed up my first one. By far one of there best controllers had to get it again I love the original controller but after using this for so long the original just didn't feel the same. I wish they would have included this with there consoles. Love the color as well

I like that its a little quieter.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Necessary, but not a good value for money. The stock controller hurts my hands, the elite 2 hurts them less, but still hurts them. Xbox still hasn't designed a controller useable in fighting games, the A button and sometimes RB button don't always trigger. The sticks are gorgeous and the dpad is useable. Good build quality and premium feel, great battery life, great little charger and included case. i don't use the rear paddles. I literally got this because the stock controller is super loud, and it bothers me when I use my Xbox while trying to fall asleep. It's still loud, but significantly less loud. The rumble is too loud still thoe. To avoid hand pain, I use a brook wingman adapter with ps4 dual shock controller. For limited, but regular use as a remote for the xbox console, its good. If the buttons were more responsive (A button especially), and if my hands didn't hurt, it'd be a really good controller. I've had to return 3 or so, because the A + RB buttons not working most of the time. Missed inputs unheard of on Playstation controllers, so it's disappointing even the elite controller has this issue. Otherwise, there's a nice premium feel too it, charger and case are good. The grip could be improved, they kinda skimped there. It looks and feels better than it actually is, if that makes any sense.

Good controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller especially if you already have the elite and you just need an extra one for the price is a step up but if you have the extra $50 just get the elite so you can get all the other accessories and the charging block, but if you just need a premium step up of a controller, this is it

Xbox gamer? This one is for you.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid controller. The battery holds a charge for many playing hours. The customization is unlimited. You can configure to your style of play and the programmable buttons make in game moves almost like cheating.

Expensive but better than stock
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had the original Elite v1 since it came out. Ive owned multiple XBox's of every generation and have a dozen controllers in my house. I much prefer the Elite controller over all other standard controllers. It just feels better. Ive not owned other brands except a Razer from back in the day but I also prefer the standard Xbox layout/size. Several years and several thousands of hours later, the rubber grip panels on my original elite popped off. The glue failed. I found replacements for cheap and I continue to use it. Its not 100% the same but its close enough. I game on Xbox and PC and got tired of using a non-elite controller on one or the other depending on the game I was playing (I re-pair often). Enter the Elite 2. So, the 2 has bluetooth whereas the original 1 did not. I have the wireless dongle so thats not a feature for me but, it would allow you to use 1 controller for both PC and XBox. Ive owned several BT Xbox controllers and prefer to use the wireless dongle on PC. An improvement over the 1 is there is no longer a groove in the plastic under the middle fingers. Seems odd to mention but hours of playing, the 1 would give me irritation on top of both middle fingers where the plastic joins. This is gone on the 2. Plus. Adjustability on the 2 is also improved. You can adjust the tension of the sticks. I have no desire to do so as it feels like the typical XBox controller Ive been using for like 20 years or whatever. There are now 3 levels of adjustment for trigger travel as well. I mentioned earlier about the 1 causing irritation on top of the middle fingers. The new trigger travel adjusters have moved ever so slightly so now, I feel them on the top of my middle finger tips all the time. The adjusters feel a bit larger as well. They are rounded and not painful. No irritation. I just notice them. On the 1, they were smaller, and barely there on the pads of my middle finger tips depending on the game I played. I dont use the back triggers and removed them from both the 1 and the 2 day 1. I cant comment on the difference if any. I dont use them. The 1 had a replaceable battery like a standard controller but required a micro USB cable just like every other Xbox controller since inception. The 2 is not easily replaceable and requires cracking it open. It does come with a dock. I wont use it personally as it has USB C and thats my preference when it needs charged. I dont doubt the battery will last for years but, Id prefer a user replaceable battery over an included dock. My preference. Lastly, the 1 had a more rubberized grippy feel. After a few years, they did fail. The 2 is more plastic feeling. Its hard to describe but the 1 didnt have a texture on the top of the controller whereas the 2 does which is the part that kind of makes it feel less grippy. Both are plasticy and rubbery / grippy but the 2 is just, well, feels less grippy to me. I dont feel like its going to fall out of my hands but its a different feel than the 1. Its like a new gen Series X/S controller kind of in the texture department but with some (10%?) rubberized feel. Its difficult to explain. I dont consider it a Pro or a Con its just, different. All in all, I much prefer the Elite controllers over the standard Xbox controllers. They just feel better in hand to me. I have no experience with Scuf. I dont use the back / underside triggers. Id prefer a replaceable battery over a dock. All that said, the 1 last me a very long time and thats why I bought the 2. No regrets.

Great controller at a reasonable price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost forgot how great it was playing with a paddle controller! No need to take your thumbs off of the joysticks anymore! This controller is amazing! It is a bit heavy, but you get used to the weight very quickly. I love that it does not have to have the batteries replaced and you can just set it on the charger in the case to charge it up. The customization options are great as well. It comes with different height and style joysticks, and the standard D-pad if you prefer that. You can also adjust the tensions for both joysticks which is awesome. I love everything about this controller! I only wish it came in more colors! If you've never played with a paddle controller, you are missing out! This is probably better than a Scuff controller and a bit cheaper too!

So far, so good!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, so I've never had an elite style controller before, but after awkwardly attempting to multitask in games with a regular controller, i decided to bite the bullet and buy this thing. The last two controllers i had were regular and didn't last long. I've only had it for about a week but it is AMAZING. The extra controls allow me to do multiple things at once and I don't think I'll ever go back to a basic controller. This works flawlessly. It feels great in your hands, customization is a breeze, and mapping is very easy. The battery lasts a really long time, too. I fully charged it before using it and I play around 12hrs a day, and the battery life barely lost a bar after a week. I know these are notorious for having issues, but mine has none. I will only update my review if I start to have issues. I received it on 5/17/2020, so if I haven't updated with any issues, you can safely assume it's still working perfectly! Highly recommend!!

Ive had 2 scuf controls and this one feel a bit more durable than the scufs. It has a decent amount of weight to it and feels very good in the hands! For the prices its a bit intimidating to buy but it worth it to me.

Best Xbox controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best official controller Microsoft has to offer. I love the weight and feel. Only that’s missing his Hall effect sticks. I bought open box and it was missing the tension adjustment tool so I took off 1 star.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to buy this as a replacement for the regular Elite Series 2 controller. Unfortunately, that controller grips started to peel. As a stand alone product, I'd say this is a great controller, even though it's $130 with the additional $50 that the parts/add-on bundle will cost. It's a very responsive controller and, knock on wood, has stayed in pristine condition during the couple months I've had it. Like its sister controller, the customization available makes for enhanced gameplay and just adds that small fraction of time needed sometimes in FPS and RPG's.

So amazing I bought a second
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this controller I’ve had a lot of fun with it and ever since I bought one I can’t go back to just a regular controller. This is my second one and I was sad when I broke my other one and happy to be able to get a new one and it’s even my favorite color. The controller itself is amazing and feels great to hold. The controls are customizable and the paddles definitely give me an edge over my opponents. I highly recommend buying this controller if you want quality for a good price it’s definitely worth the cost.
