Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the product's great overall performance, impressive battery life, and extensive customization options. They also frequently praise its comfortable grip, good weight, and responsive feel. However, a significant number of customers have reported issues with stick drift developing quickly and concerns regarding the durability of the buttons, including the bumpers. Despite some initial hesitation about the price, the positive attributes like its overall comfort and useful paddles generally contribute to a positive user experience.

Pretty bummed out. Heard really good things about this controller, at first it worked great. After about 3 weeks the left joystick click stopped working and the X and B buttons started glitching out. I love the features on it though I just wish it was better quality!

Random prolong vibration and stick drift

I had an issue with the button schemes because it wasnt registering any inputs but it was mainly because of the Steam software and by deleting all inputs i fixed it. However i got a more serious issues and that comes down to the wuality control. The vibration motor on the left side works good but the right side sounds very cheap as if it is hitting some piece of plastic. The hair trigger adjustments makes the trigger sound hollow and cheap. Considering the fact youre paying a premium and receiving a poorly made controller is unacceptable. The quality materials they used on the other hand, is superb. Hands down the best controller on all platforms. But the QC is awful. Im going to get an exchange and see if i am going to encounter anything similar. If i get the same results, ill just get my refund and continue using my Switch Pro controller.

Paddles can't be mapped to keys on PC

I'm sure this is a nice controller when used on an Xbox, but the whole reason I upgraded to this controller was because I wanted to have the ability to use the additional 4 paddles mapped as keys on a keyboard. After purchasing and setting up, I find out this is not possible, at least not natively. The only thing the paddles can be used for is as a 2nd A/B/X/Y button for 'comfort'. There is an app out there you can buy that supposedly will make this work, but I'm not paying $180 for a controller that won't natively do what it should. Returning.

Stick to the elite series one controller! The concept of this “elite” controller is amazing but I don’t think it went through an intense era of actual gamer usage. I purchased and returned within 24 hours I thought that the buttons were stiff since it’s new and whatever but they started to get stuck like there was tacky tape below them. The “A” button was the worst of them all! The trigger sticks were also unresponsive in some game play. Microsoft needs to evaluate this controller 100 times over before allowing anyone to pay nearly 200 dollars for something worth no more than 10 bucks. Save your time and money and just wait for a newer model to release.

    STAY AWAY! Multiple defects

STAY AWAY!!! I am now sending in my FOURTH defective controller within a year. Bumper issues appeared after three months on the first two, then left stick stopped working on my third replacement. I received my NEXT replacement today and tested it, only to find that one of the paddles wasn’t working. Avoid at all costs. Just google Xbox Elite 2 lawsuit. It’s not a “small percentage” of controllers that are defective. Terrible build quality. I was charged $100 for a replacement only four months after original purchase. Since then, due to a class-action lawsuit, Microsoft has extended the warrantee and refunded those replacement costs, but they continue sending defective controllers. Could have been a great product, but the quality is garbage. The features and feel are amazing, until 2-4 months after you start using it, and a malfunction renders it useless. Buyer beware.

Bought one cause I was hearing decent things so decided to try it out. Very overpriced and buttons sometimes don't work. Already had to contact microsoft twice and they pretty much told me tough luck thats how it is sometimes.
