One of the best controllers ever made. A bit heavy though so it will get pretty tiring

Excellent feel, quick response. I love the fact that the case has a dock to charge the controller.

The control is amazing when it works but breaks down a little to easy. If you’re not using it daily it might last you longer than a few months before the bumpers fail or you get stuck drift.

I got the Series 2 on Oct. 6, 2020 and had plenty of the first versions. - Double tapping the sync button doesn't turn off the paddle buttons anymore like the first version did. - The profile/configuration button also does Default. So there is ACTUALLY 4 layouts not 3. "In my opinion it should go Default when double tapping the sync button." - The top paddles are way smaller and feel closer to the bottom paddles making it easy to mis-press. + The grip feels stronger with the texture on the triggers. + The third trigger lock makes it easier to get a good fire rate quick with a pistol. + Adjusting thumbsticks' tension with a tool was a brilliant idea to add. But the Xbox Accessories App is the REAL IMPORTANT thing for me, not the controller itself. I'd suggest to look up information about using the controller with the app to see if you'd like it or not.

Series 2 Elite controller powers off unexpectedly while gaming, This controller beware, do not buy because Best Buy only offers a 15 day money back guarantee. Then you would need to send off to Microsoft for repairs. Best Buy use to offer 30 days on electronics but changed it to 15 days. Sending to Microsoft is a pain, especially trying to contact support to get help with the issue. Microsoft claimed they repaired my controller only having to send it right back to them for the same power turning off issues. Microsoft is finally going to send a replacement controller to me. Amazon have a buyer beware for this controller stating that it has been frequently returned because of various issues.

I loved series 1, this is an improvement. Build quality definitely feels better we'll see how it holds up.

Excellent built quality. Gamepad is interchangeable. Very easy to work with.

Have been through about 3 or 4 of them. Each of them having their own issues. From not correctly connecting to the xbox, to a button that would only responded once in a while when pressed. Microsoft definitely could have ironed out all these kinks after the first generation one.
