Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller's high-quality build, excellent battery life, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate the customization options and the controller's overall feel and weight. However, customers are negative about the prevalence of stick drift issues reported by some users, as well as concerns about the durability of certain buttons and bumpers. The positive feedback on features like customization and feel is frequently offset by negative experiences with controller longevity.

I purchased this item as a replacement for the Elite Series 2 Controller that suffered from sever stick drift. Since I was past the warranty period I figured why not? Great feel and weight. Definitely worth the purchase. I was able to use the paddles and charging case from the Original Elite Series 2 controller.

Love the extra grip and buttons. Although after a couple months using the remote, either the left joystick or right bumper would begin malfunctioning. Best to put a warranty on it just in case this happens.

Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2

Bought this to play certain games on my PC, because all of the generic Xbox controllers I purchased usually break very easily (the spring-return breaks in the a-b-x-y buttons, or drift on the sticks etc) so why not buy a $200 controller? First thing I noticed was the controller weight, it's got some heft. Feels great in your hands especially with the rubberish grip material, I like the customization options and additional buttons, cross and joysticks. You can remove the paddles on the back or disable them with the middle button between the pause and option buttons. You can go wired (with included braided USB-C cable) or wireless via bluetooth. I dont like enabling bluetooth on my motherboard so i bought the official Xbox Wireless USB adapter, which works perfectly with Win 10 and this controller. The sticks can be swapped out for longer, or fatter ones (included) and you can swap out the disc for the traditional up-down-left-right cross (also included). The stick tension can be adjusted tighter or looser to your liking. I have owned this for one month (to the day) and have used it heavily playing mostly RDR2 PC (i game most of my free time) and so far it's held up very well. I've used it wired (no problems) and wireless (via USB adapter) with only a few dropped connections (the game pauses and says press any key to continue) no idea if it's radio (noise) interference or freak accidents with the USB adapter, but if you press the Xbox logo button it should reconnect in a few seconds with no issues. I charge fairly often after using wireless, and game multiple consecutive hours and so far the battery has not died on me during play. The only issue I have with this is the price. Again, it's a $200 (a little under $200) but I got the insurance because of the heavy gaming I do, and again, i paid almost $200 for this so... But it's a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet controller hands down.

Bought as a spare for my 3 year old Elite controller, just a basic elite controller with no accessories, do not recommend buying if you don't have an elite controller with all the accesories already. I'm taking off a star because it doesn't come with a replacement tall stick which I feel could have been included at the very least since it is a main wear item. It does come with 2 short thumbsticks though.

The controller is comfortable compared to its general counterpart. The grip to hold the controller feels out of this world and helps with never having to worry about dropping the controller mid game. The addition to add or remove the control pad is great plus when I feel the need to play a certain game to my desire. Most of the time when I do add the feature of the control pad to have more use for directional adjustments is for when I play all my fighting games, making that much more enjoyable for me. The battery life is outstanding as well as I had not much of a need to constantly charge it time after time. I just wish the buttons were a bit better as they feel as they would break for those who can be quite competitive in video games.

Throw your Scuf controller in the trash. Go for the Elite Series 2…much more nicer and does everything the Scuf does..plus it doesn’t make a $400 paperweight like mine did. GET THE 2 YEAR GEEK SQUAD WARRANTY because you can experience some issues but they will swap it right out.
