Very good Xbox controller. Elite is the way to go!

Definitely like that it has color. Needs better grip for big hands and maybe some more button for extra customization/Personel. Over all it’s good though.

Top-tier control, but durability still lacking....

Bought as a gift for my spouse. He was very happy with it. He likes that you can change out the buttons and pads to completely customize the controller.

I had the elite 1. After many years of use the rubber grips we’re beginning to peel away. I was anxious for an upgrade. So glad I did. It is a fabulous controller. Main reason I jumped was the sale price.

So I purchased the Elite Series 2 controller, last year when it first came out, I actually swapped it for my original Elite controller (I had gone through a few of those as the rubber on the back came off them easily but that's another story). I was taken aback by the fact that the controller has a built-in battery. This is good in theory but the long term ramification is that eventually, the battery won't hold a charge as long as it once did, and eventually, it won't hold a charge at all. This is problematic since you have no way of swapping the battery out as you could in any other controller. But, the reason I'm writing this review now is that I'm having an issue that so many other people are having, my Series 2 is starting to have button response issues. More specifically the right bumper is barely registering my pressing it and sometimes doesn't seem to acknowledge it at all. I have an extended warranty with Best Buy but they are unable to replace it due to the fact that they don't have anymore. They suggested that I contact Microsoft about replacing the controller, but with a mere 90-day limited warranty, that ensures that by the time most people have issues like mine, they will be well outside of the manufacturer's warranty period. It's a real shame because the controller when it works is pretty good, the weight is satisfying and when everything works it's a very responsive controller. But I can't recommend the controller knowing that it probably won't even make it a full year with standard use.

Though a little on the pricey end, i love my elite series controller. The build and quality of the controller is perfect and it’s definitely the best looking and especially best feeling controller I’ve probably ever used. Would recommend to anyone willing to splurge for the best quality you can buy. Definitely do research on if you’re willing to deal with the problems the controller may get over time, mostly just bumpers being unresponsive for some reason. That is the only downside and I wish a newer model would address this problem in the future or else it would really really be a perfect controller.

the paddles are really nice to keep action on right thumbstick. only reason one less star is the controller is too small. since the original xbox I have not found a controller that fits in my large hands. controller is very solid and customizable.

Instantly you feel the qaulity of this controller! The response on this compared to the regular ones is insane! I noticed just playing NHL22 the response.. Great options as you can have 3 profiles and then the default one. The triggers are awesome! You can customize your sensitivity and comes with a carry case as it should for $180 which is the only CON about this as no controller should cost that.. Now i always wanted this but never wanted to spend the money but the wifey got this as an Xmas gift :) So if you have the money to spend go for it... now probably get the 2 year warranty next week as she didn't buy it but based off my experience on regular controllers might just do so since this is a high end controller...Impressive upgrade from the last one! These open box elite controllers are used. People use them for months then bring them back. Look at the buttons and other rubber parts you can se how used they are . Best Buy is misleading. Open box controllers don’t leave the store and havnt been played with games . But a new 1 they are awesome.

Fully customizable within windows set dead zones color for the xbox button. Configure trigger as a one touch so it acts like a mouse click as soon as they are pressed or make them better for a throttle.

This is the best controller I have ever owned. Feels great in your hand and very customizable.

Works perfectly and is high quality. Love the way it feels in my hands and so far have no issues.

Excellent controller. Map paddles on bottom to any other button or remove them. Feels solid/dense, unlike classic controller that feels hollow/weighless. Worth the money.

For an OEM controller, its great. Durability and longevity really depends on your use. Make sure to get the 2 year extended warranty from Microsoft only. You can buy paddles for cheaper third party

Great controller @ a fraction of the cost of the other under-button controllers.

Best controller I’ve ever played with it’s extremely comfortable in the hands when playing
