I love this controller! The weight, the bulkiness, very durable, and yet comfortable. My main complaint is that its got a classic elite controller issue. The previous model always had problem with the bumper buttons and joysticks. This model currently has no problems with the joystick but instead the L Bumper. Elite controller buttons are always getting jammed or stuck

Gift for my son in college. He is super happy with it!

So, I was a little bit hesitant to purchase such an expensive controller. Hell, it’s half the price of the Xbox itself. However, this thing is built like a tank. I wouldn’t be worried about a fit of rage and throwing it across the room. Well, except for the whole to leave in the wall. The buttons are amazing. They have finesse, and take control. This thing just fits perfect in your hand. I have never felt a controller that I’ve enjoyed as much. I wish it was not so expensive, however to get this level of precision machinery, he’s got to be worth it. Overall, I am very pleased that I spent the money on it.

I will say this controller is perfect in every way and you'll pay a premium for it. I've used mine for 3 years now and its held up pretty well. I did have to take it apart and follow a tutorial on cleaning the insides specifically the right bumper. It was a pretty simple fix and works like new just need some 90+ alcohol rubbed on the bumper contacts.

It’s nice to have different color controllers. Other than that, it works exactly like the other elite series 2 controllers. No problems with the buttons sticking or falling off.

My son loves how easy this controller is to navigate between different functions. The battery charge lasts forever it seems, and the ergonomics are comfortable.

The right bumper broke after two months. I had a 2 year BBY warranty. The controller is sold out at the store and online. So I left best buy with a broken controller and no replacement. They would not give me my money back. I called Microsoft for their warranty. They transfered me all around an I never got to the right department. I have to schedule a visit with Microsoft and drive to one of their stores if I want anny assistance. This is my 5th Elite controller that has broken. I switched from Sony to Microsoft because of Halo. I am getting the ps5 this year not the xbox series x or whatever in 2020. I have a photo of 3 of the 5 broken controllers surrounded by working controllers attached.

This is an awesome controller!!! I never purchased a pro controller before until i got a series x, and so far im very impressed with this premium upgrade, i also purchased a scuf instinct pro and both controllers feel amazing the only gripe i have with the elite 2 is the heavyweight it has, also ive read online about the elites v2 having poor quality and reliability issues, i hope its just people being to ruff with the controller and not a real quality issue.

It's easily the best controller on the market... when it works. It worked perfectly for about a year and a half then suddenly I developed severe right stick drift. The Microsoft warranty had expired by about 2 weeks, but they were gracious enough to except it anyways. But it was a hassle getting a quality controller back. They admitted that the drift was so bad it couldn't be replaced, so they sent me a refurbished one (uh oh). On this replacement the "A" button didn't function properly, so it went back again. On the next one, its "A" button also didnt work, so away it went. 3rd time is a charm, right? WRONG. This one had a faulty bluetooth transmitter so I couldn't connect it at all. At this point I finally talked Microsoft into a full refund, which they did. I'm giving it 3 stars because it is hands down the best controller on the market when it works properly, but don't be surprised when it goes it.

Good quality, good battery life (for my use), but should cost a little less considering all the accessories it doesn’t have. However, I got this a replacement for the more expensive one and all the extra buttons and paddles work seamlessly on both

My ten year old grandson is very hard on products and this one is holding up very well. Excellent product that I would purchase in the future and for my other grandchildren.

Great controller highly recommend for any Xbox game pass user.

This is a great feeling controller. The functionality on the controller itself and also what you can do in the Xbox accessories app is nice. But if you play a lot, especially games like Fortnite that are demanding on the bumpers, they will fail in about 8 months. I've ran through 3 of these in about 16 months. ALWAYS get Geek Squad protection on these.

I’ve got about a month usage out of this thing so I think I finally can give an honest review. Let me start by saying this is the best controller I’ve ever had. I mainly play first person shooters so not having to take my thumbs off the sticks has helped me out a ton. The ability to map different profiles for different games and change them on the fly is awesome. If your skeptical about purchasing so was I but now I have no regrets! The level of customization from the trigger stops, to joystick selection, the ability to change the tension on the sticks is unmatched and you will find the perfect setup that works for you!
