Great great controller BUT it is definitely more fragile. One of the critical control buttons decided to not work, thus rendering this controller useless for battle. Buy the extended warranty from BestBuy on this item. At $150 for a replacement, the 2 year warranty price is really worth it. Not Best Buy’s fault that this controller broke. C’mon Microsoft. Add a cost effective warranty extension.

The hair trigger is much better the fact you can tighten the joy sticks to your liking is a added plus gives you better feed back. To me it doesn’t feel as sturdy as the series one though. The bumper buttons seem a little weaker. But the control feels slimmer which again in my opinion is better. Still think it is over priced but still a great controller if you want to spend the money

Much better fit to the hand vs the original control from an Xbox one. Best Buy did an amazing job at answering all of my questions did so with a positive attitude and huge smile. Kudos to Microsoft for the remote design and Best Buy for thir amazing service!

I got one around 3 years ago and after about a year and half it got really bad stick drift whis is insanely annoying especially since its $180, you would think it wouldnt break but i guess not. Nonetheles, this is my second controller of it that im buying. Although this time i bought the warranty for it

Some of the games launched on my PC through the XBox app don't play nicely with that controller so I thought I would pick up an equivalent XBox controller. Much to my dismay there aren't any rear paddles on this "elite" controller!!!!! I never would have even thought to check if that's something an "elite" controller came with or not...the PlayStation equivalent includes them. Disappointed that XBox/Microsoft would even have this as an option and wouldn't explicitly call out that there are no paddles on this "elite" controller. But I do have spaces where paddles are supposed to go that I can look at I guess. Not sure what the point of this controller is compared to the standard XBox controller.

So I hopped on my BB app and saw there was a nice Total Tech deal for this fella. It’s just the base controller (no accessories) but my old stuff from my jacked up Elite 2 snapped right on. I was gaming in minutes. If you F’d your Elite 2 controller you can get this to replace it at a discount!

Compatible with Xbox Series X/S & PC. It's my daily driver. I love it. My only issue was that after a couple of years the shoulder buttons are now really sensitive and will register multiple clicks with one push. Fortunately I have the RB LB buttons mapped to the back buttons, so its not a big deal. If this happens to you call MS immediately so they can replace it while still under warranty.
