    This is a great controller. Not sure if I'd say it was all that much better than the Version 1, but it does last. Personally, I preferred the Astro C40 controller for feel, use during game play and setup. However in 3 years, I went through 3 of the C40s, and my older Version 1 of this is still kickin. So if you don't feel like swapping controllers every year, and still want a controller that has the buttons on the back I'd recommend this one.

    I bought this skeptically at first but have since loved using it. I love the extra weight, it makes the controller feel much more substantial in the hand. Following that, the customization with the extra buttons and joysticks unlock some cool stuff in games.

    Unfortunately it had to be returned because one of the thumb sticks would stick in whichever direction it was pushed. But I'm sure overall they are fine. I simply got a replacement and have not had any problems with the 2nd elite controller since.

    The elite 2 is a great controller. Very durable. Many custom options available at your fingertips and it has a perfect weight to it.

    Best controller I've ever used. 4/5 because I've had to send it back TWICE because of issues. MS is pretty quick (7ish days on average from sending back to receiving your replacement) and I cannot play on other Xbox controllers anymore, and it makes the cool PS% dual sense feel like it's just lacking features. I HIGHLY recommend you buy the 2 year replacement plan from BB. For hassle free replacements.

    only reason is not 5 stars is the grip started to fall off 6months after purchasing. For the price i dont find this acceptable, but the upgrades this has over the first gen version it is much better over all and i daily drive this still to the day.
