Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller's high-quality build, excellent battery life, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate the customization options and the controller's overall feel and weight. However, customers are negative about the prevalence of stick drift issues reported by some users, as well as concerns about the durability of certain buttons and bumpers. Good not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this controller's versatility. You can make adjustments to knobs and add in presets with the paddles underneath. However, for almost $200 I was hoping that this controller would last longer than normal. The main issue I have with controllers is that the knobs get worn out and floppy after a few months of use. I was hoping that with the adjustment ability I would be able to lessen this. This is not the case. I will go back to the normal $60 controller when this one wears out. If you are really into customizing your controller, the paddle functions are pretty neat. In my opinion the price is far to high for what you get.

I’m not having a good time
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller feels great in the hand, has excellent features (hair triggers and custom profiles) and excellent accessories but has one massive dealbreaker. It won’t register 1 out of every 5-10 button presses. Initially I thought it was my fault. “Maybe I’m still acclimating to the new controller and not pressing the button properly”. I know that’s a stupid thought but when you buy a $100+ controller, surely that can’t be the source of the problem. Well, it is. Google it. You’ll see it’s widespread and there’s no fix. Microsoft support will tell you to update the controller firmware. That’s nice but never once had that made the problem less noticeable. If you bought directly from the Microsoft store you’ll be able to send it back to them for a warranty replacement. That’s good I guess.. but should there really be so many forum posts about replacing $100 peripheral? Ok, so how bad is a few missed key presses? Do you play shooters? Imagine doing everything right and taking your time to set up an ambush only to get wrecked because your controller literally said “ lol what?” My recommendation, skip this altogether and spend money on a ps4 or xb1 controller and use them with the usb cable. They’re lightweight, familiar in the hand and they’ll listen to you.

Best controller for xbox
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the series 1 and had to get the series 2. Takes competitive to a whole new level. Being able to use more that just thumb and index when using a controller, makes a huge difference.

Absolutely loved until drift
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is 100% better than the elite 1 hands down with the additional trigger stops and just the feel. USB-C is a great addition but controller drift is beyond frustrating. Elite 1 had the bumpers break but never drift. I'd love to buy again but if drift starts I suggest returning. I will say I am very happy Microsoft is attempting to support the more serious gamers but this happened within weeks of purchase.
