Had a few sticky and non responsive buttons already within first week of using it. However, this controller worked seamlessly with my PC and was very easy to setup and customize.

Unfortunately it seems Microsoft spent more time and money on the feel and accessories than the reliability. Using Bluetooth on Windows 10 the controller constantly disconnected and required me to repair to reconnect. Updating to the latest Firmware did not resolve the issue. Then after less than 10 hours of game play the left analog stick completely bound up. For a controller that retails for $180 I would expect it to last more than just 1 week. I'd love this controller if I could trust it would last. This is under warranty, but I can't justify exchanging this for a new one knowing that this design has these kind of reliability issues. I will be returning for my money back and getting a standard 'non-elite' controller.

Was delivered a defective controller that: •someone had obviously pried open. •Left trigger didnt have vibration •Left bumper didn’t work at all Contacted support was blown off, told to contact “sales” no contact or transfer, ended the chat. So I finally make it to a store 3hrs away. And was blown off by the in-store rep when i explained the situation. Forced to get blue one aaand pay the difference!! TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Both lasted about a year before the sticks had uncontrollable drift with no way to fix them. Xbox doesn’t warranty them so I’m a little worried I just spent $179 for a 1 year controller again. Ultimately not worth it so far but I’ll update it later once I’ve had it longer.

My rating is not for the controller itself but the condition it showed up in. Controller works great but when I got the controller it was dirty and clearly BB’s inspection team did not clean the controller before shipping. It had dirt or possibly chocolate on the rubber grips and in the controller creases. All of the thumb sticks were dirty and the controller is already a finger print magnet but it had greasy stains on the surface. Once I connected the controller and verified everything functioned properly I cleaned it myself like new. I’ve bought plenty of open box items from BB this was the first time I received something in that condition.
