It will take a little while to get used to the extra buttons but when you get used to it there will be no going back.

Everything about this controller is great except for one of the main functions. It drifts! Series 1 the quality in the build lacked this series it’s the drift in the stick. I have heard from other gamers that it’s case by case but I have heard of more cases of them having drift too. I plan on finding another controller to replace this one at some point in time.

Expensive and became defective after day 1

It worked great for one day, but the second day I had it, the left joystick started drifting. I tried changing the joystick attachment with no luck. After a week the Y button began to depress oddly which offered a slower than typical response. The battery life is excellent on the controller, but the issues I experienced within the first two weeks of owning the controller do not justify the premium price. Tried to exchange the product, but they are sold out. Will return if I can’t get an exchange and save myself 140 bucks by buying a cheap (but reliable) standard wireless controller.

I get a year out of them on average. At least now it's a bit less $ without all the triggers and sticks of which I have several sets of. Sending them to Microsoft for repair is a nightmare, and they send you someone else's they fixed. I'd rather save the time and aggravation and just buy a new one.

Its pricey, but the price also makes sense for the improvements. I had the origional Elite, and so far im very happy with thep series 2.

Stick drift less than a month after purchase

Pretty disappointing. It’s not a major issue right now as the stick drift isn’t too severe and I mostly play games where I’m always using the stick, but on games where it’s left untouched for a little bit it’s quite annoying. For $180 I’m pretty disappointed that it already has this issue since cheap $20 dollar controllers have gone for years without issue.
