Great upgrade

The paddles are smaller than the first elite controller, accidental pushes are less but they’re almost too small. The paddles from the first elite I seem to be compatible, but I had issues with what would be the B paddle not consistently working, so you could mix and match. The rechargeable battery is a nice addition and the 3 position triggers are really nice.

There's nothing elite about this controller at all. Plastic casing, Weak rubber grips, and abs thumb sticks that fall off so easily.

same problems at elite v1

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.at first was very happy to feel the quality that was put into this elite v2 for the first 5 months of use. but just like v1 i started to experience the same button issues. my right bumper button doesnt work sometimes when i press it normally, so i have to press hard or double press to get it work which isnt optimal in game.

Great controller with not so great defect.

Weight is a little heavy and grip texture is perfect for those sweaty games. Downside is after 6 month to a year you will notice the right bumper having intermittent failure as well as stick drift in right thumb stick. I recommend warranty because it is a common defect that happens in almost all Elite 2 controllers.

Great great controller BUT it is definitely more fragile. One of the critical control buttons decided to not work, thus rendering this controller useless for battle. Buy the extended warranty from BestBuy on this item. At $150 for a replacement, the 2 year warranty price is really worth it. Not Best Buy’s fault that this controller broke. C’mon Microsoft. Add a cost effective warranty extension.
