The ability to toggle if you want to use the paddles is helpful for watching Netflix. Compared to the first model the paddles are significantly smaller. The smaller size helps with hand fatigue imo. Definitely would recommend this product, but maybe consider the warranty due to the issue of quality control, and potential stick drift.

Great feeling controller BUT not durable

They should come standard on all controllers to be honest.... But the the elite isn't built to last ,,this is my 3rd series 2 elite...( Went through 5 of the first gen. ones) The sticks will start to drift and then eventually stop working completely... Definitely buy the extended warranty.

Wire isnt good

Crack Controller

Durability has always been an issue with the elite controllers, but they're like crack for me. I can't game without them anymore. So I need them even if they're overpriced and break. But maybe that's what Microsoft intended?
