Overpriced with too many problems

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've gone through two of these controllers now with an additional 4 Series 1 Elite Controllers. Luckily I got the Geek Squad protection because I've used it on every single one of them within a year of getting the controller. My first series 2 had problems within a couple months with the A button not registering when pushed. So I exchanged it for a new one and right out of the box the new one has the same problem but even more severe. This is unacceptable for a controller that costs $180. Across both series of these the Elite Controllers I've now had a total of six and not a single one has lasted more than 6-8 months. I would absolutely not recommend wasting your money on this controller.

This review/purchase was also from a grown man that cares for his belongings, not a child who might be less careful with their property.

I've had an elite series 1 in the past that worked well for 2 years till the grips fell off then an elite 2 controller that had issues after a year with the trigger but replacements were easy and this is by far the best controller out there

Let me tell you though it was completely worth it. I have loved it since the first time I used it to play. The ability to tighten the sticks is a very big deal and makes a huge improvement.

Big upgrade from the elite 1. Love the built in case charger as well. I ended up pulling some of the buttons off my elite one and using those just because I have worn them in just right.
