I was an elite 1 owner and this is an upgrade for sure. The tension adjustment and trigger locks are my favorite new features. I picked these up because it was mentioned that they would be next gen compatible.

It does take some getting used to the back paddles but I would say it is worth it for games.

Upon research trying to resolve the issues I realized it was a known problem with the right analog stick becoming unresponsive after attempting troubleshooting nothing worked so I had to return the controller as defective.

In this model, the case is textured unlike the previous model which had glued on rubber grips. Better in every way, only questionable downgrade is the paddles are smaller than the Elite controller 1.

Improvements from Series 1

He has the series 1 and said that there have been some improvements to it in this version. Something about the share button and the trigger having three depth settings so you can use it at a faster rate.

After years of using a Scuf with no rumbler packs, I did not like the weight. Too bad because I was looking forward to using this controller more.
