Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the product's great overall performance, excellent battery life, and extensive customization options. They frequently praise its comfortable feel, good weight, and comfortable grip. However, a significant concern raised by users is the issue of stick drift, which appears to develop quickly. Additionally, some customers have experienced problems with button quality and found the price to be a point of hesitation.

$180 might seem expensive but for 3x the cost of a normal controller you are getting a beast of a gamepad - incredibly durable with super-precise inputs and haptic feedback triggers. The built-in battery (no more AA batteries) can last as long as 40 hours and there is this awesome charging pedestal included as well as a 9ft heavyduty braided USB-C cable so you can keep playing while you charge. There are 3 user profiles so you can customize your COD, Forza, and Gears5 controls (or any other games) using the Xbox Accessories App and recall them with a tap of a button. Controller comes with all sorts of accessories like replacement sticks with convex and concave thumbpads and a tool to tighten the analog movement making it more stiff and precise. Also holding slots for the 4 butterfly paddles if you prefer to remove them. And all this comes in a heavyduty canvas carrying case. Elite 2 controller also connects to your Win10 PC using the included 9ft USB-C cable or wirelessly with new built-in Bluetooth support (PC must have Bluetooth or you can buy the Insignia BT USB adapter for $20) Win10 also has version of the Xbox Accessory App for setup. This is easily the most durable and flexible controller I have ever owned. There were reported quality issues with the first Elite controller back in 2015 and it looks like Microsoft addressed all of these concerns while making several consumer-requested feature improvements. The Elite 2 is also confirmed to work with next year's new Xbox Scarlett so your investment is safe moving forward into the next generation.
