Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the product's great overall performance, excellent battery life, and extensive customization options. They frequently praise its comfortable feel, good weight, and comfortable grip. However, a significant concern raised by users is the issue of stick drift, which appears to develop quickly. Bad experience.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 remotes and the first remote was completely unresponsive. I got used so then I went a got a new one I had the same issues and as much as I loved the design and sturdiness I had to let it go and get scuf which is so much better! This was my personal experience. My cousin has one and he doesn't have any issues with it but unfortunately I did.

I really did love this controller but d-pad sticks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outside the 90 day warranty the d-pad now sticks up both wireless and wired. It is an issue that is no fault of my own but a mechanical fault. Can't afford another 180 right now so I guess it is what it is. I still have some regular xbone controllers to use right now that still work fine and have had much more use. The default warranty for a controller this expensive should be 1 year but no less than 6 months for a fault that is not caused by the user or normal wear from use.

DO NOT BUY AT ANY COST
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anyone thinking about buying this controller, just don't. I've had to return the controller 3 times and every single time it seems like the problem is fixed for the first week, then reality kicks in and it breaks again. The main issue with this controller is the right bumper. Every single time I've gotten it back it either double clicks, doesn't work, or even triple clicks. Please please please please just buy a normal controller, the nice rubber grips and thumbsticks are not worth it when it consistently messes up in the bumper department.

Terrible controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very very very poor build quality. Its not even worth buying the controller for the features because it'll last you a year at most. I've had 3 of these in 2 years, and the one that i have now i have taken apart and fixed over 5 times. So, if you do not have the money to buy another in 6 months, or dont know how to fix a controller yourself. Please please please safe yourself the money.

RB has inconsistent response - should have known!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only had it a few months and the RB button is completely unreliable. It "clicks" every single time as if it were functioning properly, but there is very spotty response. Horrible return policy as Microsoft suggested I send my ONLY controller to them first for repair. Best Buy is completely out of stock, and suggests I give the controller in first as well. It's a lose-lose situation, so I have had to resort to using a paddle for my RB button. No good!

Does NOT come with paddles
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't let the photos fool you, this controller does NOT come with the paddles. You'll have to buy those separately.

Do not buy get a scuff
Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller literally will either have bad stick drift, the paddle buttons will stop working. Mine lasted 4 months of very light call of duty use.

TERRIBLE quality, good controller
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. BUT. Quality is terrible. I've gone through THREE of these now, each with a DIFFERENT problem. The face buttons are sticky. The right bumper doesn't register. The seams around the left handle are coming apart. When it works, it's a great controller. But every one i've come across is just terrible. This also includes the Elite 1, so this is an ongoing problem. NOT worth the money.

Too many issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feel like I completely wasted my money. If you want to connect via Bluetooth to your PC, forget about it. I've tried every fix you can find online and this controller still gives me issues. Save your time and money and forget about getting an Elite 2 controller, Microsoft is borderline scamming people at this point.

Great idea, poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like the series 2 after my original elite controller fell apart (the rubber grips came off and some of the d-pad inputs stopped working). After about a year of low to moderate use with the series 2, the right bumper no longer works, the rubber pieces for the trigger guards have both broken off, and the rubber grips are starting to peel off. One of the selling points of this controller was that they fixed the build quality issues with the first one, but it doesn't seem like it.

Extreme poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DO NOT BUY! Bought this controller and only after 4 months the controller began to experience drift in the thumb sticks. Contacted Microsoft and they offered no support for the defective product since it was out of the warranty which is a measly 90 days. Wanted to charge another $99 just to repair it. For reference both of my regular wireless controllers from launch still work perfectly. Buyer at your own risk.

Got this overpriced brick? You'll be back soon.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can be said that hasn't already? For every benefit of owning this controller, it'll always be overshadowed by the consistent reminder that this thing WILL FALL APART. If you're buying this my advice is get the warranty or get literally anything else on the shelf. You'll be back. What an absolute piece of junk. Complete waste of money. Even Razer could probably do better.

Very poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My left stick broke after only 2 months of use playing Call of Duty. Just finished chemotherapy and only have a 16% immune system so I am restricted to home and can't just run down to the UPS office to send them in. I was shocked to see how cheaply they were made. You could save yourself some grief by taking the time to read the reviews on other sites.

Defective Unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just picked this up a few hours ago, got home and loaded up some games, and the L3 button doesn't work right. I was hoping these would be better than the V1's, but it's more of the same.

Read before you buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really didn’t want to believe the reviews I read saying the RB goes funky after a while but it’s true. After a couple months of use my RB barely registers and won’t work at the home screen or during games like cod. It sometimes registers and sometimes hasn’t and the crazy party is the controller has never been dropped. For an $180 controller this is very poor I’m upset that I need to buy a new controller and I just wasted the money on it. A Walmart or cheaper Xbox controller last longer. Buy at your own risk.

Looks good, works terribly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Description was for an open box controller. Controller was used as a display and although it’s in good looking condition some of the buttons don’t work well and have to be pushed hard or multiple times to work. Open box seemed like a good deal but not for a broken controller.
