Wow, simply wow! I bought this out of curiosity and assumed I would end up returning it. I thought it was a gimmick to be honest. I haven't put it down since I configured it, I love the added weight the high quality components add to the feel. Highly customizable with replacement pieces. The software to customize the controller is pretty well done.

This controller is expensive but after using it I think it’s worth the price. From the new grips, the ability to tighten the sticks, the longer built in battery that is USB-C, this is a nice upgrade from the original Elite. Also wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the paddles, but they feel natural and sit right at my fingertips. Definitely gives you the ability to play the way you want and map the buttons as you see fit.

I recently purchased the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. Design and Build Quality: The controller's build quality is exceptional. Performance: The Elite Series 2 Core delivers outstanding performance. Customization Options: The ability to remap buttons, adjust trigger sensitivity, and customize thumbstick tension gives me a level of control that I haven't experienced with other controllers. Battery Life: The battery life is impressive, lasting through several gaming sessions on a single charge. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller is a premium gaming accessory worth every penny.

The quality & customization of this controller are excellent. There’s a little bit too much play due to the interchangeable joysticks causing a dead zone. Buttons don’t register sometimes not sure if this is a software issue. GET RID OF THE PLAYSTATION JOYSTICK AND REPLACE WITH MID-HIGH JOYSTICK , there’s no in between height analog joystick.

I brought one home and thought I had just purchased what would become my favorite controller ever! Well… it could be if I gamed more. The amount of customizations, not just with the sticks, dpad, or tension, but also button mapping, are infinite. It honestly felt like TOO much for me. I like to game on weekends and when I can during the kids naps and such, so all of those customization options really didnt mean as much to me as I thought they would. I found myself taking the extra paddles off and just using the hair trigger for fps games. I LOVE the charger built into the case though. That is a nice touch. If this was my career, it would be worth the money 10 times over. But as a father of 2 toddlers, and 8-5 job, a really cool electric color controller will work just fine for my quick gaming sessions.

I bought this controller in excellent condition open box. I don’t think I would consider it in excellent condition, but the controller itself is amazing. I love the back detachable buttons, and the weight of the controller Is on the heavy side, which gives it a premium feel. It definitely feels like a $200 controller. If you’re a hard-core gamer, I recommend buying it. You can map out the buttons on the accessories app on your Xbox very easily. You can also create up to three profiles. I don’t recommend it for the casual gamer.

I was kind of disappointed at first because my A button was sticking. I had to return it to get a new and they were sold out. I loved the first Elite controller and think they are some of the best mod controllers on the market. I had a skud controller for my PS4 in the shape of Xbox controller and it just did not have the same feel.

This controller is fantastic. It feels great and is insanely customizable. It is slightly too small for my hands. They also removed 1 long thumbstick from the previous version. Even with my complaints, it is still the best controller around.

Good but not great. Feels comfy, plays smooth but for whatever reason the overloxking polling rate on xbox controllers are not unlockable to higher rates. Therefore you are stuck with Microsoft stock settings when it comes to input latency. Therefore the PS5 edge has a advantage over this one. Other then that its perfect very easy to use and feels great in your hands.

Straight out of the box controller had massive stick drift. Both thumb sticks have serious drift and has been an issue the entire time I have owned. Did not have this issue with previous gen. Had high hopes but unfortunately this controller is not a home run, single at best.

You just have to get this. Grips are good and help for long-term play with feel and sweaty hands. Triggers add to your options and how you play with three selectable configurations (+default) that you can customize via the Xbox accessories (computer) app. Just the fact that you can customize how all the buttons are configured for multiple setups makes this worth the money. I originally got this thinking that I needed it for teh directional pad that can be replaced with the concave pad (which is more comfortable). I was surprised to discover myself playing with the left directional stick that I had caused me to get the Elite2 -- the new adjustability allowed me to set it up the tension the way I wanted for games. Even SFV use felt good and more predictable that I could honestly play that as well as the concave directional. I think if the retail was $149 instead of $199 (or $179 on sale) this would probably be more palatable though.

This is a really nice controller. I love the dark paddles, d-pad, and triggers. All buttons feel nice and the home button is “clicky”. It has a good weight to it and comes with a braided cable and cloth carrying case. The charging base that’s included isn’t quite heavy enough, so picking up the controller while it’s on the stand occasionally results in the base hanging onto the controller. But since the charger fits into the bottom of the fabric case that’s included, I plan to charge it inside the case instead of on a table. It has a nifty little opening in the back for the USB-C cable to pass through. I was a little bummed to see that only one convex (domed) joystick was included in the extras. I don’t like the look of the controller with two different joysticks and prefer domed joysticks over the standard Xbox ones. Not a big deal, but I am already searching for a second one. As a new owner of both this and the original elite controller, I highly recommend both. Once you feel the smooth joystick movement of the the elite controller, you won’t go back to playing with the standard ones. I waited too long to purchase my last one.
