Pretty good, not great for price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing too special. If you have the money and really could use the additional buttons or customization, then you would appreciate all the features. I wish the rubber was a little more grippy. I haven't had any issues with mine and hoping I dont, but have heard of others having issues. I think for what you are getting, its a bit pricey.

Great controller but…
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller if you have some extra money lying around to splurge. Personally, it was a bit much for the cost, and I find it better to just grab a strike pack for the paddles and use an original Xbox one controller instead of the new one (afaik they don’t make them for the new controller right now). TLDR: get it if money isn’t an issue and you want more than two paddles, otherwise buy strike pack

Night & Day
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been gaming with the elite controller since the Series 1 had released. Coming from an avid gamer, switching from a regular controller to an elite, literally heightens your response time and you’ll gain some extra instincts in-game. The variety and creativity of setting customizations with this controller are intuitive and furthermore intriguing. I have 3 presets; COD, Elden Ring, and Cyberpunk! Which each are unique to their own button mapping layouts. (TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BACK TAB BUTTONS.) I say if you want to up your gaming experience this is definitely a main tool that will offer that change of play! My only CON would be the peeling that they’ve yet to fix on the side seam of the controllers. With that being said, I highly recommend buying a replacement program through Best Buy. It’s a pocket $aver forsure!

Yes. Just yes.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best controller that I’ve bought. I’ve had the normal PS4&5, Xbox one, Astro C40, Scuff, and even nycon controller. This blows them out of the water with the customizability and quality. I’ve seen reviews saying there’s stick drift after a while (I’ve had it for about a month so I cant speak on that) but I highly HIGHLY suggest this controller to anyone who’s serious about gaming.

Worth the premium price tag
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is excellent for it's intended gaming purpose. Definitely a must have if you play COD, Fortnite, PUBG, etc. Just be prepared for the dreaded stick drift. There is a warranty from Microsoft for 1 year included with controller. I have used it once - service was quick. Buttons are swappable/customizable for aesthetic purposes. I have purchased 2, and would not hesitate to purchase more in the future if needed.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller, lots of customization available for mapping and trigger sensitivity. Has a built in rechargeable battery that seems to last forever. I can start gaming in the morning and 12 hours later it still says it’s at full. I also like that you can charge it in the case with either the usbc cable or the magnetic dock. Only time will tell how long the battery will last as it ages but so far it’s the best controller I have ever owned.

Best controller out there!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used the Series 1 for many hours and loved it. This Series 2 is improved in every area. The grip feels slightly off at first, but after some use, it feels great and grippy. The rechargeable battery is great and it’s awesome that you can put the controller in its case to charge. The thumb stick options are better this time around as well as the paddles. Love that you can adjust tension of thumbsticks this time around.

HIGH QUALITY, GREAT FEEL, VERY CUSTOMIZABLE
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just hold this controller once and you’ll immediately feel it’s worth the money, truly. Everything from the grips, to the weight distribution, to the tactile experience of the buttons, triggers, and paddles, all feel absolutely premium. Regular Xbox one controllers will literally feel like junk in your hands from now on...sorry. Of course their are numerous ways to customize it. The brilliant magnet design allows attachments like the joysticks to come off like a dream yet stay firmly attached during aggressive use. The ability to literally dial in the joystick resistance, with the included tool, is just wonderful. I have even removed a joystick and changed the related tension mid-game it’s so easy! The different heights and designs of the joysticks all have real purpose and are genuinely appreciated in various scenarios. So is the changeable distance on the triggers...game changer. Then there’s the software. I have had many controllers that were customize-able with paddles (Think PDP etc). No software is more functional, efficient or effective than Microsoft’s own proprietary accessories app. Changes can be made easily, by almost any age group, and make gaming that much more immersive. Some say that owning this controller won’t make you better but it may make gaming more fun. I think they’re wrong. I think it does both. You ABSOLUTELY DO get a performance boost from higher quality instruments. Otherwise LeBron James would wear slides and Yo-yo Ma would play a washtub bass. Just get this thing so I can stop mixing metaphors- it’s expensive but you’re worth it...and so is this wonderful controller! Happy Gaming! Stay safe - Be kind

Elite 2
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a recent generation xbox controller, so it can easily connect to your windows pc without the need of a dongle. The back buttons... on the back... are a life-changer. I would personally have a hard time going back to a controller without back buttons. You can customize the back buttons -and I think the general buttons too- however you want. You can have up to 4 back buttons in total and they are all removable. So if you are unsure about using them all at once, you can simply ease into it. The price is expensive, so make sure to properly think if you want such a product, but it is cheaper than getting the xbox core controller and the separate accessories. Great to play on your xbox or if you like to use controllers for your pc, it is easy to do so.

Best controller yet
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great battery life, feel, quality. Now that I'be used paddles, I can't go back. Took off one star due to weak bumper design. This gen is better than last, but still not very durable.

Elite Series 2 Controller Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.High quality controller allowing for a high degree of customization and enhanced gaming experience. One item to note is that the Core series controller does not come with the paddles for the back of the controller, so you'll need to purchase those separately if you don't already own them.

Doesn't hold up.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Make sure you buy Best buy's $60 2-year warranty on this. You're going to be able to use it. I'm on my third one now. You have to buy a new warranty every time you trade it in for issues (stick drift on all of them. Right bumper stopped working on one of them. A button got so mushy you couldn't even feel when you were pressing it on two of them). But only having to pay the warranty cost after the initial purchase has been good. It's worth the $60/yr since I would have been wearing out a normal controller every year anyway. The Microsoft should really be ashamed of themselves for using plastic underneath of the joysticks on their elite controllers.

Really nice
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly the benchmark for quality in gaming controllers. Solid, feels great, and thorough attention to detail. The triggers are long enough for racing games but can be shortened as well. I only wish they let you choose between the concave joysticks or convex like on Nintendo and Playstation. Concave never made any sense...
