Very good controller, this is my second one because I spilled a drink on my last one but it lasted 2 years. Love the 4 paddles on the back and how everything is interchangeable on the controller.

The “pro” gamer setup of the controller - the paddles under the controller, swappable joysticks, adjustable triggers contribute to the solid feel of this controller. It has the feel of a premium controller, and rightfully so, considering the price tag attached to the Elite 2. Honestly, this controller isn’t for everyone; if you’re a casual gamer, you can probably save the money. If you’re an avid gamer, and one who plays a lot of first person shooters, give this controller a serious look. And if you have the disposable income - don’t hesitate to pick this controller up. Me personally - I like this controller so much, I’m considering picking another one up as a reserve controller.

Purchased via "Open Box Excellent". Very pleased with the controller, and definitely a step up from the regular xbox controller that came with the Series X. the grip and feel of this controller is good, but not on the same level as the PS5 Dualsense IMO but still nice nonetheless The weight is fantastic, although definitely heavier than a normal xbox controller. The thumbsticks take a little getting used to, but once you adjust the tension to your preference they are great. Would also recommend replacing the paddles with SCUF paddles for additional comfort and easier access/playability

Highly customizable software-based function binding. Strong battery life and it charges quickly. Nice storage/carry case if you need it. Charger stand allows you to display controller standing upright, and out of the way until needed and so you can easily grab it from the stand. Excellent build quality, controller feels solid during use and has a set of replacement thumb-paddles/sticks and D-pad. The grippy surface allows for better grip over the smooth standard plastic surface. Wireless connectivity has been excellent, not a single issue. Stupid expensive. and only a 1-yr warranty.

Great controller, has proven to be more durable than the original elite 2 while being slightly lighter in weight. Ive used elite 2 controllers for about 3 years and the bumpers always fail withing the first year or shortly after and this elite core has been running the longest, so in comparison i definitely would put the core on top, and you can get cool colors.

This is my 2nd Elite Series Xbox controller. Size, feel, quality is top notch. The paddles are very comfortable and the controller comes with additional paddle and button options for personal preferences. It is easy to connect to the console and the charging station is fantastic. Nothing bad to say about this controller. Highly recommend.

It works good when brand new, within a few month of gameplay. Either the left or the right thumbsticks get stick drift. Then I have to get it exchanged l. BestBuy makes it easy to exchange broken warrantied items with their yearly renewable total protection plan as well.

It feels great in my hands and everything is so easy to remove and replace. feels very solid and the underneath paddles let me play without having to take my thumbs off the sticks. It has great battery life too.

Excellent controller. Feels weighty in your hand, latency over bluetooth is non-existent. The parts are all quality made and I love the trigger pressure options and overall customizability. I’ve seen some have complained of stick drift, but I haven’t encountered any. Just wish it was slightly less expensive. Highly recommended if you want a quality controller for xbox/pc gaming.

To qualify this review, during the entire Xbox One cycle, I purchased 1 controller besides the stock controller. 1. Since purchasing my Xbox series S, I’ve gone through 3 standard controllers, 2 Wolverine chroma 2s. This controller is my 7th in 2 years. I’ve waited a month to see how it performs and so far it’s performed how I would expect a standard controller to perform. The weight is a bit heavier than a standard controller. Personally, I like heavier controllers so that’s not an issue. The feel of this controller is very close to the Recon Tech Special Edition from the Xbox 1 days. That is a huge positive for me. The grips and how it feels in your hands are perfect. One downside to this controller is the buttons. You would think that for a top tier controller that you’d have much better spring and pop in the action buttons…..these feel cheap. Like, when will they break?, ..cheap. I do like that the app to adjust the controller is seamless with the Xbox settings. I also like that you can get the best controller MS has to offer without having to waste money on the paddle kit in the more expensive bundle. I purchased the Core and a third party paddle kit and paid a combined $50 less than the Series 2. The biggest factor for me is the length of time this controller will last…and when aren’t there yet. On the plus side, there is a one year warranty once you register the controller with MS, despite Best Buy telling me that it was only 3 months like all standard controllers.

No joke. Best controller out there. Its light in the hands and the textured grips make it easy to hold for hours. Not to mention the charge on this is the best out there.

Battery lasts many hours between charging. Takes a beating.

Really nice grip, the option to swap out joysticks and pad is nice for fun customization. Option to add paddles and set trigger depth is awesome. Excellent battery life

This controller is a game changer.. Quite literally. Ok so facts, it is expensive. But if you like to game and want a quality controller, it pays for itself the first time you play with it. The buttons are fully mappable through the desktop app and you can add up to 4 paddles on the backside of the controller which makes a HUGE difference. For example, On COD, I've got 2 of the rear paddles mapped to jump and slide. After a few games, it becomes so intuitive to use the paddles vs the front buttons. You can map two additional controller button settings via a button below the xbox button and they can be changed on the fly. The controller has a built in rechargeable battery which lasts for days.. The charging brick is conductive and can either be removed from the carrying case, or left there, with the type C usb plugging into it through an access hole in the back of the case. When it's time to charge your controller, simply place it in the case on th echarger and you're good to go. The controller comes with a set of 4 paddles for the back, an additional D pad, and a few extra thumbsticks of different texture and height.. Treat yourself and buy this controller, you wont be dissapointed.

Battery life is great. Responsive and latency are great and controller is comfortable. After some use there was some wander but it’s very minimal compared to other controllers. Pricey but worth it.

I absolutely love playing with this controller. At first, I was hesitant because of the price but after a while I feel like the price is more than a bargain. I can use it for my Xbox, my computer and my cell phone. I can customize it for movies, individual games and streaming, soo much more. It's insanely customizable. The weight and durability are amazing. Gaming just isn't the same without it. By far one of my favorite purchases of all time. Don't even get me started on the battery life... It lasts for like 20 hrs, sometimes more.

This controller is amazing. From the customization to the durability and functionality. Highly recommend even if it is a little bit more expensive. You won’t have to worry about getting a new controller and spend just as much as you would with the normal ones.

This controller is fantastic in just about every way. Lots of customization and fine tuning. I won’t go into the details, because anyone can research how much you can do with these great controllers. This controller is weighty, compared to the Xbox elite one, it feels about 50% heavier. I like it and have no issues, it makes it feel sturdy. I have yet to have issues with any rubber coming off like the Xbox elite one, so that is a great improvement too. The bad news is: I have had to replace about 3 of these controllers already! For me, the right bumper keeps becoming sensitive and double pressing. Eventually, it will stop working altogether, especially if you press harder on it. I believe it is a manufacturer defect (happens after a few months of everyday use). I’ve tried cleaning it with some success, but it still comes back. I highly suggest getting the replacement plan if you want to have this controller for a long time. Although I had to buy a second so that I would have no down time in between returning and ordering a new one (they are almost always out of stock at my BB store). TLDR; Buy this controller if you game a lot, but know that the bumpers (or other buttons may fail after a few months). Get the replacement plan option OR use Microsoft’s new 1 year replacement plan and expect to wait about 2 WEEKS to get a new controller. The warranty use to be 90 days, currently it is now 1 year!

Okay first things first, this controller is great. I’ve used SCUF in the past, and they always seemed to have a defect pretty early on in their life cycle.. Dealing with their customer service was always a hassle. These controllers typically last me a couple years, the main thing that seems to go out on them periodically is the Right and Left bumpers for whatever reason.. They still work technically, but seem to double click after awhile. Only game it’s really an issue in is Fortnite when switching weapons.. Otherwise I love the grip and the battery has a pretty decent longevity between charges. Definitely recommend picking up the 2 years GSP with this one. Your future self will thank you!
