Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the product's great overall performance, excellent battery life, and extensive customization options. They frequently praise its comfortable feel, good weight, and comfortable grip. However, a significant concern raised by users is the issue of stick drift, which appears to develop quickly. Additionally, some customers have experienced problems with button quality and found the price to be a point of hesitation.

[Employee of bestbuy] Honestly if you’re just playing elden ring or something I would just get a normal controller. I can see the advantage if you’re playing race games or call of duty though

      Hi there,

We're sorry that there are issues with your new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. If it's still within Best Buy's return period, we recommend exchanging it for a new one. Otherwise, we recommend contacting Xbox Support for assistance under its 90-day limited manufacturer's warranty from Microsoft here: https://beta.support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/wireless-controller-solution

So Im writting this the same day I ended up picking it up from the store which for whatever reason was only getting sold at a best buy 50 miles away and they didnt do shipping... Cons... #1 the Hair Trigger Lock Slider is placed right where my middle finger would be making it feel a bit weird #2 The A and B buttons werent always registering, at first I didnt think much of it I honestly thought I didnt press them correctly or something but as I started playing COD it became too noticeable and I went into the Xbox Accessories Test Mode on my Series X and there was when I saw that indeed the Elite 2 controller wasnt registering the A and B correctly, Id say it only successfully registered about 80% of the time and thats a NO GO! A huge disappointment! I waiting so long cuz its always selling out and when I did actually get it it turns out to be defected. I love Xbox, I know these things happen but it just sucks when they happen to you! Im going to have to return this controller and wait again until they restock! I just hope I dont have to travel 50 miles again just to get one! Sadly I have to give a 1 Star review right now but once I get my hands on another one Ill write a updated review

This is a great controller, but it wears out just as soon as one of the regular game controllers. So if you want to spend the money, at least buy the protection plan.

Bought this controller thinking it would last me for a long time but after 5 months of having the controller the LB button stopped working correctly. Controller has never seen a kids hand or been dropped. I would save your money and just buy a SCUFF controller. Other than the LB button messed up its a great controller and easy to use and feels great in your hands but will not last you 6 months. My original controllers have lasted me 4 years no problems. You would think a $200 controller would last way longer than a $60 one.

This is the second controller, the first one failed after 3 months of use unfortunately I did not purchase a warranty. My right rear bumper stopped working, I used microsoft warranty and got it back working but my other bumper was not working. I had to purchase another controller after this. I love it but they are unreliable.

I've had exchange this twice due to stick drift issues and once due to a face button issue. Currently on my 4th which is working acceptably for a $150+ controller. Ridiculous a multi billion dollar company can release such a trash product with no consequences. It honestly needs to be taken off the market and fixed.
