Customers are saying
Customers consistently note the product's great overall performance, excellent battery life, and extensive customization options. They frequently praise its comfortable feel, good weight, and comfortable grip. However, a significant concern raised by users is the issue of stick drift, which appears to develop quickly. Expensive, and still not great quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this controller for just two weeks. The right stick is so loose in the center position that it drifts like crazy. I’ve tried every setting to try and solve the problem, but it’s still there. For $180 it should be way better quality than this. I’m going to exchange it for a new one, and will update if that one is any better, but so far I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. My night ops controller seems to be way better quality for a lot less money.

Poor Quality! - Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this controller in December 2019 and by June 2020 the RB button stopped working (two weeks after the manufactures warranty expired). For the price I paid, I expected this controller to last longer. On top of that I am unable to use my Geek Squad Protection Plan because my local store is closed and they aren't allowing appointments or drop offs for repairs.

DISAPPOINTED, NOT RECOMMENDING
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THE FIRST PURCHASED HAD AN ISSUE ONLY AFTER 2 WEEKS, THE RIGHT BUMPER IS SLUGGISH AND MOST OFTEN NOT RESPONSIVE. I WAS EXPECTING THAT THIS IS A BETTER CONTROLLER BUT FAILED.. MAKE SURE YOU BUY GEEK SQUAD ADDITIONAL 2 YEARS PROTECTION WHEN BUYING THIS, I DONT KNOW WHEN THE REPLACEMENT I GOT WILL BE DEFECTIVE AGAIN. XBOX NEEDS TO STEP UP ON THIS AS THIS IS THEIR PREMIER CONTROLLER.

Paddle issues, Microsoft knows but hasn’t fixed ye
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The paddles will stick after short use. Microsoft has acknowledged there is an issue but hasn’t come up with a fix yet. Bought the extended warranty from Worstbuy and they said we should hold on to the controller until Microsoft fixes the issue and then come back and get another one on the extended warranty. Great for Best Buy cause now you loose the warranty and will have to purchase a new ex-warranty for the replacement. Best Buy wins. You lose.

Stick drift after 3 days!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well I was hoping that all the bad reviews were old and they had fixed the problems. Well after 3 short lived days my right thumb stick already has stick drift. Absolutely ridiculous! Come on Microsoft get it together with these elite controllers.

2/10
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thumb sticks have terrible stick drift right out of the box. And randomly turns off mid game first initial start of the console only, if you click the right thumb stick in too many times while pressing other buttons. But can be fixed by plugging it in and unplugging the controller. (Very strange).

Can't use my Warranty
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this controller with a warranty for about a year and a half now, and it has been out of stock for nearly the past 7 months, it came back into stock for like a week but then it was out again. Meanwhile other stores like Microsoft and Target have had it consistently in stock for the past 2 years. So annoying! The reason this matters is because my left stick has gotten a drift and is now unusable after just a month of receiving it!

Posted .Hey Adam,
We're sorry that there's an issue with your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. This is the Elite Series 2 controller that was released in November 2019 so it's possible that you have the first generation Elite controller, which has since been discontinued at Best Buy. We suggest reaching out to Best Buy directly for information on how to fulfill your extended warranty with them.
Hope that helps,
Chuck
