    Bought the open box “excellent edition” and the charger port broke only after a couple of months. Controller won’t charge at all. Never buying “open box” again.

    Broke after not even 1 year. My son is very careful with his stuff, takes care of everything. Definitely not worth the price.

    Left Stick Broken After 4 months

    This controller was great until 4 months into owning it and my left stick lags. It won't register max input. It only registers about 60% input. Then when you let the stick go, it sticks (virtually not physically). For $180 controller, it should last longer than 4 months. Microsoft won't replace as it is outside its 3 month warranty. Garbage.

    Controller is garbage. Only thing cool is the Xbox button can change color. The lag and configuration is horrible. I pick up any other random Xbox remote and it works perfectly fine.

    I tried two of these and had problems with the d-pads on both within a day of use. It’s disappointing that Microsoft would release an official product with such lackluster quality, especially considering the price.

    Do not purchase. Ive been through two of them in a year. First one went down with a sticky/non working right bumper. I returned under warranty and received a new one. This one in the left stick now drifts and sticks at all times. Dead zones will not fix. Spend your money better and look into buying SCUF.

    I had ordered a replacement from Microsoft after my first one charge port was not working and the second one comes and has a defective right bumper and I try to get another replacement and they say it's out of warranty I don't recommend buying this if you want to have to pay 180 because your controller was defective

    As a open box labeled as excellent quality, it was something first being registered 2 years ago with a defective left shoulder key, and it was sold for 90 bucks
