If you're looking to up your game, this controller is for you...but make sure to get extended warranty, or if you're a TotalTech member you're covered. This is my 2nd one, because the good outweighs the bad. OK, the good - it's comfortable, nice weight, very customizable, back paddles easy to use and reach, it's wireless, long lasting battery and great case that can charge, and braided cable the not so good - on my first Elite II the rubberized grips began to unpeel after less than a year, but worse than that, after about 1 1/2 years the RB button began to not work that being said, after about 6 months of not using it, I shopped around for a replacement, the closest competitor was the Thrustmaster Eswap, but it's a wired controller and has 2 buttons on the backside instead of paddles and that tipped the balance in favor of the Elite II I especially recommend this if you are a TotalTech member, you can get it for $159 and if you have any reward points you can get this for close to $120

I upgraded from my original elite controller to this one mainly because the grips on them were starting to fall apart. This controller is a bit heavier which in turn makes it feel nicer in your hands. This time around you won’t need a rechargeable battery pack as it’s all built into the controller and comes with a charging dock to lay on when not in use. My only concern with the controller is the fact that instead of having rubber grips on just the back side of the lower left/right controller like the previous model, it now has that rubberized grip texture on the front and the back. Although it feels great, I wonder how durable it will be. Hopefully they don’t start falling apart like the previous generation model. You may ask, is the controller worth it? If you’ll actually use it’s functions, swap out thumb sticks and would like full customization such as button mapping through the Xbox accessory app then I’d say, absolutely. I personally enjoy the feel, the trigger locks and customization options. I remapped my “Y” button to one of the four paddle triggers behind the controller which is super beneficial when playing certain games. My thumb can stay on a certain button on the front (X for example) while I can use another finger to control the paddle in the rear which I re-mapped to my “Y” button at the same time. You can also adjust tension to your thumb sticks which is a welcome addition as well. Overall, great product so far and definitely enjoy using it more than the standard controller. I highly recommend! Now, it’s up to you. Will you decide to get your hands on one of these?

Is it expensive? Yes Is it worth it? YES. It's heavy which makes it feel sturdy, the paddles on the back add extra inputs (which I love) and the trigger locks are a godsend for shooters.

Overall, the controller works well. The paddles and extra thumb sticks that are included are a nice plus. Setting the controller up is incredibly easy. The best feature is battery life. I have been using this controller for a year and even while playing 15-20 hours a week I’ll never have to charge it more than once a week. The controller can also be used wired while it’s charging, so you don’t even have down time between charges. The only reason for a 4 star rating versus a 5 is because of stick drift. After maybe 3 months of regular use, I started getting stuck drift in the right analog stick. It has a warranty, and Microsoft will fix it, but you have to send off the controller for who knows how long. For a $200 controller, stick drift should not be an issue. And if it happens outside of the warranty window, you’re stuck with it. Microsoft at the very least needs to sell new pots for the analog sticks that you can replace yourself. With that being said, you can counteract the stick drift by changing your dead zone settings. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and will probably buy another one whenever this one finally bites the dust.

To begin inuse this for PC gaming only, i tried the PS5 edge controller and the xbox elite 2 by far is better for PC. Easier to sync up and most pc games use the xbox layout. It feels very durable and of good quality.

Really enjoying this controller. I love how you can change light color on the center button light and the paddle buttons. Makes playing fps games easier to play. Plus I like the trigger sensitivity control levers so I can just barely press aim and trigger buttons to shoot faster. The battery life is awesome, barely have to charge it.
