Great for fps games
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never have to use the regular buttons. Fully mapped them to the back paddles and the two extra shoulder ones. Fits well, comfortable, battery lasts decently long. No complaints.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent controller. Has the first series and I wasn’t a fan but this series 2 controller is perfect! Much better quality than the previous generation!

Xbox series 2 core Controller is next gen!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this controller! Originally purchased an elite series 2, and traded for this and haven’t looked back. I bought some aftermarket paddles and I’m good to go for pretty much anything I could want to control in a game. I have found that it’s super helpful to map the L3 and R3 button clicks to the bottom paddles. That is worth the price of admission alone the triggers feel amazing, the grips in your hands on your skin just feel next level. I recently purchased an Xbox to play Starfield being a PS5 I thought I was going to have problems with the controller, but I prefer this one to the PlayStation. If you are a new Xbox user go for this upgrade with confidence!

Excellent function, but unreliable
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is excellent from the standpoint of functionality, ergonomics, and customizability. It has everything from multiple profiles, customizable triggers, adjustable stick tension, swappable D-Pads, and 2-4 paddles depending on user preference. It's also basically plug and play on PC. Where it falls short is build quality. Despite being quite an expensive controller, it has only a 1 year warranty, which admittedly is up from the 90 days offered on the Elite v1. I have returned 7 of these in the last 4 years - they do not last. Stick drift, sticking triggers, and unresponsive bumpers (typically R1) are the most common issues. I don't think any of them have lasted a full year. They're also the same issues I had on the Elite v1. Given that it's almost a decade since the original Elite was released, I think it's clear the manufacturer isn't willing or able to address the quality control issues. This is underscored by the fact that a bare bones version (the Core) was released without the Series 2 accessories. Presumably this was to offer a lower cost option to people whose controllers had failed, and were out of warranty.

Overall Improvement over Series 1
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used an Elite Series 1 controller for 6+ years before finally deciding to replace it just after Christmas last year. The Series 2 feels improved in ergonomics and refinement, and all functions feel more crisp in comparison to the Series 1. I've been using the Series 2 for almost nine months now, and it's showing no signs of cosmetic wear. The only minor issue I've noticed is that I have a little bit of play in the left joystick, maybe 2-3% of the overall travel. Typically this is not an issue due to there being a deadzone in most controls, however, I'm not able to get extremely precise with it. Overall, very happy with the purchase and will likely buy a Series 3 after a few more years of using this one.

Better than Scuf
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this controller for about 3 weeks nlw with no issues at all. I have also owned at least two scuf controllers and each scuf controller had issues at least 1 week aster use. This controller sensitivity is excellent and the adjustable triggers makes it great for Call of Duty and Warzone. The back paddles uses an app to configure them how you would like and is a very easy to use. This controller quality wise is better than any scuf or console controller i have ever used. I use this for my PC and dont own an Xbox Series X or S although for PC this controller is a beast. For quality this controller beats anything out right now. I know that PS is coming out with its own controller with back paddles, but from early reports is going to be significantly more expensive than this controller. If the Elite controller ever starts experiencing issues, i may give the PS controller a try.

Rather a Scuf
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wouldnt buy one of these again. Didnt like the position of the rear paddles and how far they stuck out. The controller also got stick drift super fast, still in the return window. I was lazy and dumb and didnt return it. I ended up sticking with it in hopes I would get used to it. I ended up giving up on it and buying a Scuf controller. Scuf controller rear button placement is so much better in my opinion. I could not get used to playing with the 4 huge paddles on the back of this controller.
