A better controller than the basic, but twice the cost with marginally improved durability. If you use custom configs, though, this is for you.

This is only worth the cost if you have a current broken elite controller or you want to find after market sticks and paddles.

Its perfect when it comes to performance, the only thing i dont like is that it did come with a case and extra parts like the gen 1 had... other wise its perfect

Really nice to use, even without the additional back paddles. Only real flaw is there isn't a dedicated capture button. Would recommend if you can get it $30+ off.

It's the best feeling controller to use with paddles and after trying other controllers, it's definitely the best all around.

The left thumb stick doesn’t click very easily… poor designing

I’m a light ‘gamer’ with an obsession for new hardware. Compared to the in-box controller, the XE2 is a no-brainer. Compared to the XE1, things get a little closer. Aesthetically, the E2 looks better imo. Maybe it’s just because it’s different than the first gen... who knows. The feel... Feeling the controller in hand is everything I expected, and wanted. The internal battery makes the back less-crammed. The triggers feel bitter-smooth. The analog sticks, d-pads, paddles, etc are all great. The paddles are smaller and this leads to a better feel and less accidental hits... EXCEPT when switching the trigger ‘pull’ switch from its lowest (closest to paddles) setting. I’ll get used to it. The analog stick tension customization is cool, though I wish a tool wasn’t needed, but I get it. Kind of. The profile switcher is to my liking, as is the USB-C input so I’m not constantly flipping it back and forth to get it to fit the port (first world problems). The included dock is a nice touch and has magnets for proper seating. I love magnets... The case is nice and the port is cool, I guess. If you aren’t going to customize the controller via the Xbox accessories app (or whatever they call it), then this controller isn’t for you. Hope this helps someone out there!

Control was open box but very clean and came with same color wire. Works perfect.

Definitely worth the upgrade if you are playing FPS titles. Quality is top tier, however the grips are still not the best. Microsoft should take a look at using similar material that is used on the Scuff controllers.

Great for a year then stick drift. Always a constant issues with Xbox controllers tho. New one bought the warranty to replace easier.

I've had other Elite Series 2 controllers and they all broke fairly quickly, so i bought this as a replacement. It's great so far, but if it breaks quickly again I'll update my review

Button seem to be very responsive and no complaints.

Controller works awesome and looked brand new. I've had no issues gaming with it and it makes game play super smooth.

My wife surprised me with this controller, after my Elite Series 2 right bumper took a crap on me. My only complaint is that the A button is a little stubborn. Other then that I really like this controller.

This is is my 2nd elite purchase. As with all controllers there will be wear and stick drift, but I can’t think about playing with something other than an elite.

Instantly you feel the qaulity of this controller! The response on this compared to the regular ones is insane! I noticed just playing NHL22 the response.. Great options as you can have 3 profiles and then the default one. The triggers are awesome! You can customize your sensitivity and comes with a carry case as it should for $180 which is the only CON about this as no controller should cost that.. Now i always wanted this but never wanted to spend the money but the wifey got this as an Xmas gift :) So if you have the money to spend go for it... now probably get the 2 year warranty next week as she didn't buy it but based off my experience on regular controllers might just do so since this is a high end controller...Impressive upgrade from the last one! While every controller eventually wears out the thumbsticks, this is by far the best controller ive ever used considering ive been playing on xbox since 2001 and ive even competed before where i would wear out thumbsticks every 3 months. This controller is for sure the best feeling controller and the thumbsticks lasted over a year on the first one i had. Not to mention all the features of thumbstick tension control, button customization, and trigger travel. I cant say enough good things about this controller. I only hope they continue to improve the durability of the thumbsticks even further.

All around one of the best controllers i have used. I love the stick sensitivity. It really helps in any game that requires precise movement.

Great and sturdy, a few things that would need improvements would be a removable joy stick because they seem to loosen pretty bad and the tightening sometimes its either too tight or too loose
