best controller I've ever used, reliable and amazing performance - comp cod player

I originally had the original Elite controller, and upgraded to this one after I had multiple issues with the original. I did have my first unit eventually develop stick drift issues, so I took it in and was able to get a new one. So far, I have not had issues with the replacement after several months of daily use. I still wish we could map keyboard keys to the back paddles for things like Push to talk bindings in games. I've now become very attached to the option of swapping out the analog sticks for something is a better fit to my style.

I dont have any dislikes at all. I get these everytime my old one wears out

This product is good but 100% chance if breaking 12 months so i got bust buy warranty to protect it. Good deals buys are always at Best Buy

Love the elite controllers easy to map and use. Never have any issues and sturdy for that PVP performance.

Best controller when I’m gaming with my friend, doesn’t break like others

the paddles in the back make this controller superior to the standard xbox controller. the black and silver looks sleek. my only complaint is the r2 and L2 buttons stop working after a while and the controller needs to be replaced after a year. (I will still probably keep getting this controller unless something more durable comes out)

Bought this controller in January 2022. A couple years in, I had issues with button activation (mostly bumpers) and rubber coming unglued. These problems exacerbated until finally recently becoming unusable. This does not appear to be a defect, just poor design and materials. I expect more from Microsoft, especially at this price point.

The grips feel way better and it feels like it’s just better made than the previous series. The battery life has been amazing. I’m a streamer and play a good amount but so far this controller has been nothing but great. I wish it came with 2 of the tall thumbsticks instead of 1 and the paddles on the back are smaller than the series one but luckily I just transferred the larger paddles over since I had the series one. Thumbsticks however are a different size attachment so you can’t transfer those over. Like I Said so far the controller seems like a big improvement but we’ll see how the durability holds up and I wish they gave us another large thumbsticks and the paddles were slightly bigger.

Tired of running out of batteries or swapping batteries in the midst of a game, this is the controller for you, or the kids, or that someone you love. On a full charge you can get several hours of gameplay and it proves as a great alternative if you dont want to go for the elite 2. I recommend this purchase

Good controller, silly that it doesn’t come with paddles.

0 issues after several months usingbthis controller nearly every day. 10x better than the standard controller. I use scuf paddles with it. The custom mapping with the 3 presets is great if you like having different mapping for different games.
