Awesome controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely one of the best controllers I've ever owned. The customizable paddles make for great gaming. And the fact i can set 3 different sets of settings means i don't have to keep changing it for different games.

Xbox Elite 2!

I use it for PC gaming and console gaming. The connection is flawless and the buttons feel great. The controller has a weight to it, gives it a quality feel.

Stick Drift Persists
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm writing this in July, 2020. I bought the controller the week it came out and I'm now awaiting my second controller after using the extended warranty I purchased. The reason: Stick drift. This is an issue that came up with the original Elite and I figured the MS engineers maybe fixed it. Maybe not. The controller is truly fantastic. It's heavy, has excellent options for programming/customization, and has a lovely, tactile feel. But don't buy it without the protection plan. Without the drift, this controller would be the best out there and I still love it. The specific drift I'm dealing with is on the left analog stick. I returned it and the BB rep, also an Elite user, immediately recognized it and helped me out, so 5 stars for the great customer service. I'd love to blame AC: Odyssey for causing the problem because if you've never played this game, you'll put lots of hours in pressing up on the left stick. But that's not enough reason for a $180 controller to fail. Buy the protection plan and enjoy the controller with the understanding that if you're willing to pay this much, you need the extra insurance to protect your investment.

Worth it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was super skeptical, but it changed my gaming immediately. If you enjoy Halo, or any first person shooter, this controller will change the game for you. Can’t wait to see how it will impact my gameplay in other genres

Doesn't hold up.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Make sure you buy Best buy's $60 2-year warranty on this. You're going to be able to use it. I'm on my third one now. You have to buy a new warranty every time you trade it in for issues (stick drift on all of them. Right bumper stopped working on one of them. A button got so mushy you couldn't even feel when you were pressing it on two of them). But only having to pay the warranty cost after the initial purchase has been good. It's worth the $60/yr since I would have been wearing out a normal controller every year anyway. The Microsoft should really be ashamed of themselves for using plastic underneath of the joysticks on their elite controllers.

The Series 1 was better.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how the controller feels but that's about it. Right out of the box the ABXY buttons will randomly double-input.

Expensive but worthit
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes there are cheaper alternatives for the elite controller, but the quality of the build and how easy it is to use is perfect for someone who wants the buttons and not want to rage brake a controller.

Best controller ever made.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best controller I’ve ever held. Size is perfect. Paddles are useful in every game. Only issue I have is sometimes clicking in on the thumb sticks causes the controller to shut off. Only way to reconnect is to put it on the charger, then take it off and reconnect. Sucks when it happens in multiplayer. To fix this I put melee on one of the paddles.
