THE TRYUE GAMER EXPERIENCE!!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my opinion you are limiting yourself in gaming without using an elite controller it eases the feel of the game and gives you a larger capability compared to the the standard controller. The controller has a great feel and best of all no more batter pack you can charge it in the dope case it comes in or with just the regular usb chord.

Great upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft has done a great job on the 2nd gen elite controller. My only problem with the 1st gen were the grips and they've completely rehauled them here. They don't feel as tacky at first touch but once I start to play I actually much prefer the grip on the 2nd gen controller. Overall the controller feels much more solid. A little more compact grip which has proven much more comfortable over the last month.

Overpriced but still Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.RB button stops registering every once in a while. I use it for light gaming and have not dropped. I had an abused Razer wolverine for years and it never stopped working. The small cover for the trigger adjustment fell off as well, i only adjusted it one time when i first got it.

Great controller, some build quality issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can’t stress this enough: buy the protection plan. I’ve read numerous reviews on some models having design flaws, stick float, etc. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE this controller, but I would hate to spend $180 on one and not have it work after the 90-day Microsoft warranty runs out. My first didn’t charge on the base, current one seems flawless.

Solid Quality but Disappointing Joystick Drift
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased the Xbox controller with high hopes due to its reputation for great quality and performance. Upon unboxing, it was clear that the controller boasted a robust build and excellent craftsmanship in its design – a definite plus. The ergonomic feel of the controller in hand was quite impressive, and the buttons and triggers were responsive and well-placed. I appreciated the attention to detail in the design, and it truly felt like a premium gaming accessory. However, my experience took a downturn when I encountered an issue that has become all too common with these controllers – joystick drift. It's disappointing to see that even with such meticulous construction, Microsoft has not managed to address this critical flaw. The joystick drift makes gaming sessions frustrating and unenjoyable, as precise movements become almost impossible to execute accurately. Given the premium price point of the controller and the reputation of Microsoft, it's truly disheartening to witness such a glaring issue persist. While the build quality and overall feel of the controller are commendable, the presence of joystick drift significantly tarnishes the gaming experience. It's a shame that a company of Microsoft's caliber has not resolved this matter satisfactorily. In conclusion, while the Xbox controller exhibits exceptional craftsmanship and a sturdy build, the ongoing issue of joystick drift severely impacts its usability and overall value. It's my hope that Microsoft takes heed of these concerns and works towards rectifying this persistent problem to provide gamers with the experience they deserve. Until then, it's hard to wholeheartedly recommend this controller.

Wireless issues on PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good controller, but when using it for PC, the connection is unstable and would disconnect constantly. Using a wire fixes the issue but if you wanted a wireless controller this isn't it.

Buy this and don't look back
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels polished, well put together and durable. Compared to the cheap Amazon controllers, the Xbox Elite blows them all out of the water. Is it worth 3 or 4 times more than that no-brand controller? Absolutely. You won't know what you're missing until you've tried this. Find a demo and you'll know exactly what I mean as soon as you pick it up.
