Always room for improvement
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It a good upgrade from the series 1. I just wish the rubber grip backing. Other then that it’s a great controller for shooters and racing games.

Quality
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a very overpriced controller That’s really awesome I had the original one and the grips came off after a year. The new version seems to be holding up well and the wireless charging is nice

Great Controller, Not So Great Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price is high. Let’s get that out of the way. But the features you get including almost full customization and rechargeable battery are awesome. Not to mention this will work with the Xbox Series X and it’s by far the best feeling controller I’ve ever owned. Hopefully it will hold up in the long term.

Great Xbox upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great out of the box but has not withstood the kids abuse and use. Have had to had geek squad check it out twice in a short time. This Would likely last a long time with adult use. Added functions are amazing and customizable. Get the geek squad protection!

Its better than the regular fs.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only issue ive had is bumpers being a lil weird (notorious in all xbox controllers). They sell a kit for them though so not much of an issue.

Terrible quality control, unresponsive buttons
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are two main issues with this controller that I believe every single controller suffers from, just due to the design. First, unresponsive face buttons. If you're the type of person who grazes over the buttons at an angle with a lighter touch then I can guarantee you will have problems, especially with the Y and A buttons. I have yet to come across a Series 2 Elite that does not have this problem. Out of the dozen or so that I've played with literally every single one had this problem. If you're more of a masher type then you probably will not encounter this, this is an issue specifically for players with a lighter touch. I do not have this issue on the Series 1 Elite or the stock OEM controller. Second, this controller has massive dead zones, and it's a hardware issue not software. No amount of tweaking in the Accessories app will solve this problem, it's clearly hardware related. People who aren't sensitive to dead zones may not notice, but if you rely on precise analog sticks for shooters and such then this controller might drive you nuts. Also, no adjusting the tension in the analog sticks does not help. Many people are having all sorts of other problems, like faulty shoulder buttons, sticky face buttons, etc but I believe the two issues I outlined above are a result of the poor design and will plague literally every single controller, it's just that many people are button mashers or press the buttons at a 90 degree angle so they don't notice. I'm amazed more people aren't complaining about dead zones because that too is an issue I've seen on literally every single Series 2 I've touched, I guess I'm more sensitive to it than others. I absolutely do not expect Microsoft to resolve these problems. Their terrible 90 day limited warranty is a testament to how they don't stand by their own "pro" level products. Even Microsoft doesn't trust these controllers, why should you?

Totally perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ability to adjust the stick tension is by far the best feature of this controller. Having 4 different stick layouts at the push of a button helps with multiple players in the house or the different games we play. 5 of 5 stars but make in different color choices to make that 200$+ price point more enjoyable.

Incredible piece of hardware... if you need it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You probably don't need this controller. It costs as much as a new Xbox these days, and doesn't really do much differently than the standard Xbox One controller. It is clearly built like a tank and is a very impressive piece of engineering... but you probably won't find it worth the price of admission.

WORTH THE MONEY!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wasn’t sure if it was gonnna be worth the money coming from the series 1 but it was! They really slimmed down the controller overall and it has a dark black finish on all the buttons. It having a built in battery helps so much . I drop it on the dock before I leave way more convenient than having to plug in my controller. Upgrade all the way through

This is a power move.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A must for anyone serious about gaming on a controller. Your grip switches can be programmed to any button which you are able to switch and program for different games in your collection. Works on PC and the new Series X. I’m glad I made this purchase. Definitely a power move when you bust this out on your friends.

Great premium controller for Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great controller! I use it for all of my Xbox gaming, but bought it for first and third-person shooter games. The adjustments I can make have been helping me game play for shooter games. The grip is definitely better and nicer than the regular Xbox controller. No problems with the controller so far.
