Good not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the feel of the controller. What stops it from being great is the delay in the A button. It's still the best Xbox controller out there.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buy the warranty. This is my 3rd elite 2. Phenomenon controller but they get stick drift after months. The second one I bought did not even get much use and got it. Best Buy has been great with honoring the warranty at least.

Microsoft needs to do some quality control.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, the controller look and feel are excellent. I love the rubber grips (can't have a controller without them since the first Elite controller) and these feel better quality from the last. Because that was a major wear and tear issue before. I love the monochromatic look as well. Overall I'm a fan for the most part of the changes. USB-C, finally. There are just too many cons. I have gone through two of these controllers and they both had the same issues, and were 6 months apart. My A button is constantly sticking, it has a noticeable reaction lag. My RB, also sticks and has a noticeable sound when I press down on it, like a spring or something is our of place. The most used buttons were defective on arrival... on two models. I just can't justify getting this controller because it has been riddled with issues from the start. I had the 6m gap in between because Microsoft said they were addressing the issues... apparently not. Also, they don't include the taller analog sticks like the did in the first model. They include ONE, and it's far too tall. I feel like they skimped on the accessories to include the charging stand. For 200+ on a controller, I couldn't recommend it, and if you do buy the Best Buy Protection. Note: there's a reason the protection is so pricey on the controller...

Great Product but QC is bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing controller if you get a good one out of the box. I had to go exchange it several times until I got one that wasn’t defective. Finally found one that wasn’t and it works/feels great!

Save your money.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every elite controller ive gotten has started stick drift and the rb stops working all within 6 months. Get the competitors controllers. Not to mention its super heavy and will cause wrist pains.

Yeah...no thanks.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After many months (maybe years) of my brother telling me to get this I got to say, nope...no really, controller feels amazing, not $180+ dollars amazing tho, yes...mapping, customizing, interchangeable d-pads and joysticks, ja da ja da...still not be able to macro just doesn't do it for me, for example: if you want to map a L1+R1 in one button (paddle in my case) you can't do it, while cheaper options (like 8bitdo pro2 controller) can...I just can't fathom the price tag for just the way the controller feels...sorry, it's a no for me.

Get the protection plan
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took a little to get used to. Had to incorporate the paddles one at a time because the grip is kind of awkward. Longevity seems to be a issue with daily use so get the geek squad protection for sure.

Better than the series 1
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a series 1 Elite and the only problem I had was with the rubber grips. They fixed that issue with the series 2. Very happy I bought another one. The Bluetooth option is great for connecting to your phone or computer as well.

Works great until it doesnt
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second elite 2 wireless controller. I use this for PC and the joystick will randomly move or get stuck. Recommended to get the warranty. This is still the best controller for PC.
