The everlasting search for a controller!

Upon multiple attempts of buying/returning different controllers of all brands I finally broke down and bought an Elite. I’ve always thought about buying one but never brought myself to do so because of the price point. Honestly 1000 % worth it! Everything else I had either had some kind of issue a few weeks in or just didn’t feel right. The Elite controller definitely feels amazing especially with the rubberized grips, it doesn’t slide nor do I feel myself having to grip the controller any tighter than normal to keep it steady. The thumb sticks take a little getting used to as they’re a little heavier and have a different kind of bounce back (in a good way). It’s really not too heavy at all for a wireless controller and this is coming from an avid player who prefers wired! Happy Gaming!

This controller looks similar to the original but its nothing near it. You can feel the quality once its held in your hands. The rubber on the left and right stick have some grip which make all the difference and it also has adjustable trigger depth to help make it more sensitive. The home button also changes colors which is awesome if your looking for that custom look.

One of the Best controllers on the market! My only gripes is that the bumpers seem to go bad after about 3 months of use, and the sticks begin to drift after about a week or so. But besides that, it's the perfect controller! (Mainly get this if you've already got the Series 2 kit with added paddles and everything already.)

I had the black Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller for at least 3 years when the left bumper slowly stopped working. After researching online, there did not seem to be an easy fix. I loved the feel of the controller as well as how it handled and the myriad of fine tune adjustment sone can make compared to the regular wireless controller. I also loved how well it fit in my hands and comfortable it feel in addition to responsiveness. I kept an eye on a new controller with BB, as I am a BB Total member and I try to make any electronics purchase through BB for the added protection. I grabbed this controller at the incredible price of $109.99 new, and the avg. sale price was $124.99. I had $15 in certificates as well to use, so extra great deal. Ordered online and ready within an hour. Enjoying playing Xbox games again! I appreciate the deals with BB!

Super solid build quality. Love the grippy texture on the handles. Like the ability to add paddles underneath at some point. Also like that you can swap out the magnetic D-Pad and joysticks for different ones. The instant record feature in the middle is great too. This controller was very expensive but worth every penny!

I love this controller! It’s heavier than a normal Xbox controller, which is nice. The rubberized grips are great for extended gameplay. It also has a great battery life so far. Overall, great controller. I would definitely recommend this to others.

The Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core (White) is a solid “mid-elite” controller: it brings many of the high-end features of the full Elite line, with compromises mostly in bundled accessories and price. If you value comfort, customization, and flexibility, it delivers excellent value. But it’s not perfect — there are trade-offs, especially around durability and cost if you want the full set of extras. Overall, a strong choice if you use it enough to get your money’s worth.

The Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller is a premium gaming accessory that excels in comfort, customization, and performance. With adjustable tension thumbsticks, remappable paddles, and hair-trigger locks, it offers exceptional precision and control. The built-in rechargeable battery lasts up to 40 hours, and its Bluetooth connectivity ensures easy compatibility with both Xbox and PC. While it’s on the pricier side, the Elite Series 2 is a must-have for serious gamers looking to elevate their experience.

Absolutely love my Elite controller. Heavier weight, textured rear grip, customizable binds, home button color, joy stick resistance, customizable trigger settings, & more. My ONLY issue is the stupid bumpers are still cheaply made. BUY THE WARRANTY!!

Its a great feeling controller that does what a pro should be able to do. Last 40 hours with a single charge, can be customized on the xbox and saves the data. Only draw back is you need to buy the attachments so plan for a extra 50 down the road.

Have a black series 2 controller and the core and the back pedals are helpful. The stop triggers are a nice feature and the battery life lasts days on a single charge. These controllers are comfortable. The only thing about my black one is I had it for two months and it already has a slight stick drift with the right stick.

I love this controller. It is comfortable and ergonomic in hand, feels like it has a high build quality, looks nice and has nice customization. The paddles on the back really improved my FPS play. The battery life is also fantastic. However, the build quality, although feels great, is just not great. The buttons, specifically trigger and bumpers start to fail rather quickly and the stick drift right out of the box. If it were not for this, I would give this controller 5/5 stars. But because of this, I am purchased another controller and I am going to try that out and maybe jump ship. This controller introduced me to the world of back button paddles, so I am grateful for that, but in the end, I do not game enough for this controller to be failing me, so I am on to something else. If you are handy and own the proper tools, you can replace the switches for fairly cheap, which may make this controller more enticing at its price, but most people are not going to attempt that.

Pros: Solid Build Feels good in the hands Customization Cons: None TLDR: Buying one of these will last you considerably longer than the standard controller which will end up costing more in the long run.

A very good controller. I've gotten mine a couple years ago when it first came out. I love the paddles on the back. The only thing that sucks is the accessories don't come with the controller so you have to buy the paddles separately. Recently though the controller has started to crack and rip places. I don't abuse it when I get mad at my games. It just starts disintegrating. Other than that lasts a while and no stick drift at all. Would recommend. Just in case I'd buy the protection plan with it.

This is my go to controller. When you pick it up, you immediately feel the quality. I love the customization feature options with the back paddles (sold separately) as well as the trigger response options. The built in battery life last a long time with a single full charge.

Really enjoyed this controller. Love that you can change the sensitivity and do multiple profiles. Even though it’s been out for a while it’s definitely worth it if you game often. Is heavier that the standard controller which I personally really like. Feels comfortable in my hands even when gaming for long periods of time. Also worth it that it comes with a hard cover case that can charge. Along with the standing charger. It’s heavier but love that it’s sturdy fits perfectly on a desk. Honestly for what you pay for you are getting a lot.

Battery Life: The battery life is impressive, lasting through several gaming sessions on a single charge. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller is a premium gaming accessory worth every penny.
