Great controller with some flaws
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally gave up on my only elite 2 controller as the bumpers were becoming very unresponsive. I bought this controller sense I have all the elite 2 stuff from the other controller. My only complaint is that when I bought this controller the 3rd trigger stop on the left trigger made it unresponsive and I have read other places where people were having this issue. Instead of returning it which would’ve been a hassle, I took apart the controller and filed down the area where the trigger hits the trigger stop. After I got it fixed and put back together it works like intended and still is one of my favorite controller but I just the fact that I had to fix it myself when it can broken was kinda frustrating when I know plenty of people who wouldn’t even know how to fix it and just return it is annoying

Drifting away
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had multiples of this controller and there is one major issue... Stick Drift. If they could fix the stick drift issue this would be a perfect controller. I have had them drift straight out of the box. It is pretty dumb that Microsoft hasn't fixed this issue.

Top-tier controller with premium feel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Elite Series 2 Core controller delivers a fantastic gaming experience. The textured rubber grips feel great in hand, the buttons and sticks are responsive, and the battery life is impressive. Setup on Xbox and PC was seamless. The only caveat is the price — but if you’re serious about your gaming, this controller is a worthy investment. Highly recommend.

THE FUTURE OF CONTROLLERS IS HERE
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it for my best friend. But I also have one and honestly there’s no going back after using one. Not just for the paddles but just the overall feel and attention to detail. It’s got a nice weight to it as well and I dig it.

I like it but..
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the controller, it feels great, responsive, heavy in my hands the grip on the handles is nice. BUT, and this is on me, I didnt realize it didnt come with all the add ons to make an elite controller, that would be sold separately ($30 i think) so not terrible. Also, the select button is hard to press to get to menus in game. I usually have to hit it twice to get it to register.

Worth Every Penny now I cant blame the controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’ve ever rage-quit a game and muttered, “It’s the controller’s fault,” then this Microsoft Elite Series 2 is for you. Spoiler alert: It’s not the controller’s fault anymore. This thing is so good it’ll make you realize you were the weak link all along. First off, the build quality is incredible. This isn’t just a controller; it’s a work of art. It feels premium in your hands—like holding the gaming equivalent of a luxury car steering wheel. The rubberized grip and weight balance make it clear this isn’t some run-of-the-mill gamepad. It’s like Xbox said, “Let’s make something so good, people will willingly eat ramen for a month to afford it.” The customization options are next-level. Adjustable thumbstick tension? Check. Swappable parts? Check. Hair-trigger locks that make you feel like a sharpshooting legend in Call of Duty? Double-check. I even mapped the paddles on the back for quicker actions, and now my reaction time feels borderline supernatural. (Okay, maybe not supernatural, but at least I can reload without taking my thumb off the stick.) The battery life is ridiculous. I gamed for an entire weekend without charging it, and it still had juice left. I started wondering if it runs on magic. And don’t even get me started on the carrying case with a built-in charger—it’s like Xbox is saying, “You deserve to feel fancy.” Is it expensive? Sure. But you know what? The moment you hold it, you won’t care. This isn’t just a controller; it’s an investment in happiness. The precision, the feel, the performance—it’s all worth every dollar. Now, instead of blaming my controller for my bad aim, I just scream at the screen, “That’s on me!” And honestly, that’s priceless. If you’re serious about gaming (or just want to feel like you are), do yourself a favor and buy this. You won’t regret it.

Pretty Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller functionally is great! However; this is my third iteration as the left and right bumpers wear out over time and even though they click, the input is not detected by the game. I primarily play Rocket League and use those bumpers frequently.

The Ultimate Controller for Precision Gaming!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from Best Buy, and it’s hands-down one of the best gaming investments I’ve made! The premium build quality instantly stands out—its weight and textured rubberized grips feel sturdy and comfortable, perfect for long gaming sessions without any slip. The customizable features are a dream for any gamer. With interchangeable thumbsticks, D-pads, and four back paddles, I can tweak it to fit any game, from shooters to racing titles. The Xbox Accessories app makes button mapping and profile switching a breeze, letting me save up to three custom setups for quick changes on the fly. Performance-wise, it’s flawless. The adjustable-tension thumbsticks and hair-trigger locks give me pinpoint accuracy and faster response times, which have noticeably upped my game in competitive titles. The 40-hour battery life is a huge plus—no more worrying about recharging mid-session—and the included USB-C cable and charging dock keep things convenient. Whether I’m playing on my Xbox Series X, PC, or even via Bluetooth on other devices, the connection is seamless with zero lag. This controller is a total powerhouse for anyone serious about gaming!

Pricey, but good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really happy with this controller so far! The feel is solid — nice grips, good weight, and it just works. I love being able to tweak sticks and triggers, and the rechargeable battery lasts me through long sessions. Setup was easy via USB-C or Bluetooth, and it’s great on both Xbox and PC. Only minor thing: it’s a bit pricey, and if you’re after paddles or extras you’ll need to spend more. Overall though, well worth it if you’re serious about your game.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to share my positive experience with the Xbox controller I recently purchased. It is incredibly convenient, customizable, and easy to use. I particularly appreciate the ability to choose a D-pad that suits the game I'm playing, rather than being limited to a single cross or round pad. The round pad works best for fighting games, while the cross D-pad is ideal for older games where diagonal movement isn't necessary. Using it on my Windows PC has been seamless; it connected instantly without any issues. The availability of downloadable software to customize the back paddles is also a significant plus. While I personally haven't used this feature, it's definitely super useful for accessibility and for those who need it.

Worth every penny
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller for Xbox is easily one of the best controllers you can buy if you’re serious about gaming. It feels substantially more premium than a standard Xbox controller, with a comfortable, thoughtful design that’s built to last and enhance your play.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I play FPS and sometimes I get stuck drift after a year or so. Microsoft Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller has replaced my standard controller, and it is awesome! Heavy weight and solid in your hand, and so didn’t want all the extra levers and triggers, I just wanted it mainly for the built in rechargeable battery that last me 4-5 days easy playing 6-8 hours each day. Big step up from the older models of the elite, just seems solid and buttons are very responsive

It's an Elite Controller, but is the core
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Better build quality than the standard controller; heavier with more quality materials. Easy to sync with your Xbox or connect to a PC. Note that it's the Core controller so you need to already have/buy separately the accessories for the back buttons (I didn't realize that but had them on hand from a broken controller before).

Better than the default controller!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Red Microsoft Elite Series 2 Controller serves as a budget-friendly alternative to the premium Elite Series 2 model. While it lacks the additional accessories included with the standard version, it features a plastic-coated body with rubberized grips, rather than the full rubberized texture found on the premium model. Despite these differences, this controller is a noticeable improvement over the standard Xbox controllers. For a slightly higher price, it offers an impressive battery life and the convenience of built-in recharging. If you're looking for an affordable entry point into the Elite Series 2 lineup, this is a solid option. However, I personally prefer the texture and included accessories of the default Elite Series 2 controller, as they provide a more premium and comfortable experience. Overall, I’d rate this model 4 stars: it’s a great step up from the basic Xbox controllers but falls short of the comfort and quality of the black Elite Series 2 controller.

Overall solid controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s an overall solid controller. The reason for the four stars is the wear and tear. Sticks get dick drift after a year of heavy gameplay and considering the price I believe it should be at least two years for any part malfunction
