Worth Upgrading
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was hesitant in getting a refurbished controller, but as soon as I began using it all that went away. Clearly another level than the standard controllers, but ultimately price speaks volumes and the base price of this device is understandable and still exceeds tolerance. At half the cost, then absolutely a done deal. Same can be said for a standard controller for that matter. These devices shouldn’t be priced the way they are and neither should anything in the console category as they’ve exponentially climbed towards absurdity. If hardware has outpaced game resource demands, then either we don’t need to refresh systems for another ten years or someone needs to tax the system resources with something amazing, to which they have and it didn’t need teraflops. But I digress…awesome controller and refurb totally worth it.

Good except for inevitable stick drift
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Controller is the best out there except for the fact that the thumbsticks will start to drift in a few months. Definitely get the replacement plan. Hall effect sticks just don't feel the same.

Xbox Elite Controller
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve always been a fan of these controllers. Love that you can tighten down the sticks, change how far you need to press the triggers, and also save 3 different settings for games.

Worth The Money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the original Series 2 but I wanted the White one since it’s announcement. They also announced that the elite Series is apart of the design lab on Xbox website so you can customize the way you’d like. Like advertised, it doesn’t come with the extra accessories like the original but if you don’t use them or had paddles and thumb sticks from previous ownership, you’re set. Update the controller once you pair it and you’ll be able to change the color of the Xbox logo.

Expensive but good
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 Xbox controller is exactly what it says it is: elite. The full package comes with a case that has charging capabilities built into it, storage for the paddles that can go on the bottom of the controller, and storage for the optional sticks. The controller is fully customizable using the Xbox app, and gives you the ability to configure multiple profiles. You can switch between the profiles directly on the controller giving you the option to quickly change layouts when testing things out or switching to other games. The controller works well with Windows 11, which is one of the reason I got it. The overall weight and premium feel of the controller are both really nice. I still think the A-B-X-Y buttons feel kinda sticky and cheap like they do on the base controller. Rechargeable batteries are integrated with the controller. The paddles for the underside of the controller and different stick options allow you to customize the feel and functionality of the controller. The controller is pretty expensive, but also on par with other premium controllers available. I’d you want a premium experience, integrated rechargeable batteries, customizable gaming experience, and don’t mind shelling out almost $200 (after tax), then go for it. Otherwise, you could simply get the Elite 2 Core Controller for around $120 and add the case and extra parts in the future if you are wanting them.

Nothing magical.. works as it should
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a decent controller: had good weight, feels better than original. Experience a little stick drift right from new but I’m a casual gamer so it is what it is..

Expensive, but I love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll start by saying I paid for it with credit card rewards- so I didn’t have to pay any extra for it. While it’s a bit pricey, I do love it and am glad I got it. It’s very comfortable, the metal pieces are really nice and it just feels better than a regular controller. I dropped it once from maybe two feet up, some of the metal pieces popped out but they popped right back in because they’re magnetic, which is actually really cool. No issues with stick drift (yet) after a few months of use. Love it so far.

Feels so good in da' hands....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dont be fooled, the core Elite 2 is the same as the Elite 2 as far as build quality and functionality. This is missing the additional sticks, back paddles, carrying case and small portable battery with the last two being superficial. This is great to replace an older elite where you still have all the old accessories or if you plan purchase the addition components from amazon to customize your controller (they have plenty of good options). Connects great to a pc, phone or TV with little to no latency if you use it as a bluetooth controller. Wired to an Xbox or PC its flawless. I will say at this price be sure to purchase the warrenty to cover any accidents for 2yrs. Worth it.

Unleash Your Gaming Potential with the Series 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller is a game-changer when it comes to gaming peripherals. As an avid gamer, I've had the pleasure of using various controllers over the years, but this one stands out from the crowd. It's clear that Microsoft has put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into designing a controller that truly enhances the gaming experience. First and foremost, the build quality of the Elite Series 2 Controller is exceptional. It feels sturdy and well-crafted in your hands, providing a premium feel that surpasses most other controllers on the market. The combination of the textured grip and the adjustable tension on the analog sticks adds a level of precision and control that is simply unmatched. Whether you're engaging in intense first-person shooter battles or executing complex maneuvers in a racing game, the controller responds with remarkable accuracy. One of the standout features of the Elite Series 2 is the customizable buttons and paddles. The controller comes with a set of interchangeable components, allowing you to tailor the layout to your preferences. The addition of four paddles on the back is a game-changer, providing easy access to additional inputs without needing to remove your thumbs from the analog sticks. With the Xbox Accessories app, you can remap buttons, adjust trigger sensitivity, and save different profiles for various games or playstyles. This level of customization is a boon for competitive gamers and those seeking optimal control in every gaming scenario. Battery life is another area where the Elite Series 2 excels. The built-in rechargeable battery offers an impressive 40 hours of gameplay on a single charge, which is more than enough for even the most extended gaming sessions. Additionally, the controller comes with a charging dock, making it incredibly convenient to keep your controller charged and ready to go at all times. The controller also boasts Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for seamless pairing with both Xbox consoles and Windows 10 PCs. The low-latency connection ensures a lag-free gaming experience, which is crucial for competitive gaming or when playing fast-paced action games. While the Elite Series 2 Controller undoubtedly delivers an exceptional gaming experience, it does come with a premium price tag. However, considering the build quality, customization options, and overall performance, I believe the investment is well worth it for serious gamers who want the best controller on the market. In conclusion, the Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller sets a new standard for gaming controllers. It combines excellent build quality, customization options, and outstanding performance to provide a truly immersive gaming experience. If you're a dedicated gamer who values precision and control, this controller is a must-have addition to your gaming setup.
