GREAT! BUT Do Not Buy without GeekSquad Protection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the Elite controllers are far superior to the regular ones, they are still full of wearing parts, and prone to being dropped or mistreated. We had a teen boy in the house, and had the first version of the Elite controller, and so we got the GeekSquad protection thinking we wouldn't use it, but it's not that expensive so what the heck. I can not tell you how many times the GeekSquad plan has saved the day. I think that first series controller got replaced 3 times before the series 2 came out! Now that the series 2 was released, people are discovering problems with it. SO, that's even more reason to get that GeekSquad protection on it! I think this controller is like version 2 of series 2 in the Elite controller lineup or something like that, and they may have worked out all the problems, but I think it's still better safe than sorry. So I'd say get that GS protection on it, otherwise the Elite is a waste of money as it will most likely break at some point.

A Hefty Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I don't really think it's worth the full price, I got it on sale and used certificates to lower its cost even further, it's definitely an awesome controller. It's a solid, good-weighted controller. The grip texture around the entire grips is great. It just feels really good in your hands. Being able to tighten the tension on the control sticks, swapping out the sticks or the D-Pad for the other ones, all super easy to do. My one complaint is the lack of the share button the newer Series X/S controllers have. Since I got this after having one of those controllers, I definitely notice it missing. If they would patch an update to be able to remap the "preset switch" button to be the share button, this would be the perfect controller in my opinion, but for those who don't use the share button that often it's already at that perfect level.

Huge advantage over the competition
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These controllers are amazing! They feel great, they are durable, they are super easy to get set up if you know what you’re doing. Gives you a HUGE advantage over anyone using a regular controller. In my opinion the back buttons are placed in better positions than SCUFF controllers.

Amazing idea, garbage quality.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless you have an unlimited budget to throw at repairs, extended, warranties, and replacements you should not buy this controller. When you get it, everything is wonderful. It’s hefty, customizable, and has features that are almost impossible to do without after you’ve experienced them. Then, the Y button stops working after a couple of weeks, so you return it. You get a new one that works better - for two months. Then your A button doesn’t register all presses. Luckily you have your warranty, so you now are on your third one (but out an extra 40 for a new EW because you can’t trust the build quality). Things are ok for the best six months. The A button doesn’t always register soft presses, but you learn to live with it. Then the left bumper stops working. You check with MS but you are now a month out of warranty so they want to charge you 100 dollars to fix. Luck you, you have the EW from BB, and if you want another you can pay even more! Now the controller that was a luxury at 180 will bring you to 300! And there is no guarantee the next one, or the next one, or the next one will last. It’s pathetic how little support MS offers for such an expensive and supposedly high quality accessory. Just pass, because once you used paddles with Forza there is no turning away from this dumpster fire.

Good upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller is a good upgrade from the series 1 controller. The controller is lighter and feels much better. It uses at usb-c charging cable I'm glad I upgraded phones to the Note 10 plus. I mostly play three games and being able to program three profiles to the controller is great. Playing with it on COD is great and really fun.

Elite Series 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband loves his remote. We've purchased the elite series several times. The previous versions had issues over time, specifically with the joystick and L1 button. We will see how long this one lasts.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good controller, paddles can be swapped out by the scuff ones and are pretty useful. For the price compared to others not a bad buy.

Worth the investment over time
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will gladly pay twice as much for this because it is so sturdy. The regular controllers break after a year or two so it is worth the investment. I had the original elite for five years and this one is better in every way.
