stick drift after a couple of months. build quality isn't what I expected for how much you spend on a controller. Stick drift is horrible after a couple months use. If you have the money to dish out for the controller than go ahead and buy it. It works great when it is working but once stick drift becomes a issue its over because things like stick drift matter alot in fps games and pretty much any game where there is a aiming mechanic involved. Microsoft definitely needs to focus on this issue more on the next model. Thus for now I only give it 2 stars due to the price along with the lack of build quality due to the stick drift issue.

The build quality is awesome and it’s a beautiful piece of technology, but there are several fundamental flaws that still have not been completely fixed in this second generation of elite series controllers. Within days I was experiencing: -Stick drift -dropped connection mid-game -delayed response in left stick input (visually confirmed in the Xbox accessories app) For this price, I would absolutely expect this controller to be perfect. Instead, I got an absolutely gorgeous controller with a lot of problems. They may not be noticeable to a casual gamer, but what casual gamer is buying a $180 controller? Three stars because I’m having it replaced and I’m hoping I just got an exceptionally bad copy. If it’s another dud, 1 Star for sure.

Price came down recently so i decided to purchase. Great decision, extra buttons are a must for the competitive edge and the controller feels SOLID

Really does give you an advantage in shooter games. Controller looks and feels premium! Love how the buttons from the original elite controller fit this, so buying just this core was a no brainer to me.

I have been using this controller for the better part of a year now and it has been nothing but perfect. I love the fact that so many of the parts are modular and can be swapped out or removed. The controller is very well balanced and feels very comfortable during long play sessions. The charging dock and case are excellent as well. It's expensive but definitely worth the price.

This controller is meant to break, they have insurance for a reason. This is my third one. Sadly its the best controller out there, but will break over time no matter what. Horrible stick drift is known and buttons getting stuck.

It fills so smoothly, heavy and solid, it’s really different experience. Even if you don’t you down pads you need to have one, sticks moving so smooth and accurate. I love it, perfect. I dont have too much time for gaming, but it still great.

So much better than a regular controller, the paddles and adjustable sticks make a difference
