It didn't come with all of the parts needed and the controller itself was really greasy as it had sat out in the store.

Not a bad controller. If you are using it on a daily basis I would go with a scuff and learn 2 paddle as it’s more reliable

Really an amazing controller... for the first year or so. The combination of the balanced weight, texturized grip, and upgraded button placements, with traditional xbox shape and feel, truly makes this a great investment for mid to high end gaming, or just to bump up your game play. This was my first upgrade from a normal controller and can never go back. The sad part, is this is my 3rd controller. After about a year or so, some of the buttons stop working, thus making it useless.

This controller was one that I had my eyes on for a long while. After finally receiving it, I was a bit disappointing at how similar it feels to the other Xbox controllers. Besides the excellent controller grips and color, the thumb stick sensitivity is like the regular Xbox controllers. Xbox controllers in general have a bigger gap when it comes to precise thumb stick aiming than PlayStation so it was disappointing to see that the elite controller is the exact same when it is advertised as being able to set your thumb stick sensitivity. This is nowhere near the same sensitivity as Returned after a few days of testing.

    Stick drift

It comes out of the box with stick drift, albeit can be fixed by setting a .1 dead zone. No other controller I’ve had needs this high a dead zone to work in fps games brand new. Controller is great for rpg’s, but get another option if you mainly play fps. Other than stick drift, the build quality is excellent. Back buttons are perfect. Customization options are 2nd to none. The drift was just a dealbreaker for me.

Good controller for FPS games. Not that much use for anything else. Not really worth the hype for the price but does add some nice features like profiles and the RGBW home button.

I have purchased two of these and both are starting to having issues. One controller randomly disconnects from my Xbox and the other is starting to have stick drift issues. They work great, but definitely buy GSP.

If you're going to game for 3 or more hours a day and have long sessions, the Elite controller is a must. There are cheaper ways to go, but this is an excellent controller.
