This controller is the very best one in the market and now with this aforable price its an easy recommendation for anyone wanting a pro controller with the option to get all the extra fearures down the line, but for starters just the trigger stops, internal battery and comfort I think is well worth it.

Better than the original Elite controller. I've been through three Elite controllers due to stick drift and other issues, but the Elite Series 2 has lasted the longest without any issues.

Well, let me just say that I hesitated for years on getting this controller because of the cost and also because I'm not very big on many controller based games on PC... However, recently I purchased Star Wars Squadrons on PC and let me tell you that this controller is a GAME CHANGER for that game and I'm sure I will find many more games that I will benefit greatly in... For starters, the build quality is fantastic, this feels like a premium controller, it makes my Xbox One controller feel like a cheap toy in comparison. The customization is great, I like playing with the Xbox 360 tension on the sticks, and it's great to have 3 different options to choose from. The BIGGEST selling point for me and many of you of course is the BACK BUTTONS, and let me tell you that these buttons are giving me a HUGE ADVANTAGE in Star Wars Squadrons. Being able to keep both my thumbs on both the thumb sticks at ALL TIMES while toggling my power systems as desired(using the back buttons) allows me to continue to track targets and/or escape enemies without losing control of my ship. It's just a huge advantage being able to multitask without having to reach over the controller to press other buttons. MY KDR nearly doubled overnight after I got used to the controller and now I regret going so long with this controller. Another thing is I think Microsoft totally nailed the configuration of the back buttons, they're not too big or not too small, just perfect. I even spent the extra money on the GeekSquad Protection to cover my controller for a few extra years. If you feel you will benefit from the back buttons in whatever it is you're currently playing, stop reading this review and purchase now or when you see a sale on this thing.

I had an Elite Series 2 for over a year. Many buttons failed. Wanting to keep the high end controller experience continue, i opted for the Core. Bery peased. Great feel. A few button misses which are to be expected with an Elite. Its common but not a big deal.

very wow. i would sell my soul to never have to use a regular xbox controller again. would even trade my kids for a life time supply of these bad boys! if your on the fence buy one , TRUST ME! Your wife might leave you but the controller will always be by your side! for at least the time of your warranty.

I’ve had these controllers a lot over the years. I love the textured thumb sticks and textured grips around the controller. One of the best controller on the market for Microsoft. Highly recommend this controller

My husband plays video games a lot so the remote gets used and abused. The remote usually last him about 8 months until it starts to have issues. So GET the warranty. For some reason he loves this remote and will only buy this remote. I don’t play video games so I’m not sure how durable remotes are suppose to be, but he’s gone through a few of them. The warranty isn’t cheap but it’s cheaper than having to buy a new remote every so often.

Great product, I've owned in the past and still doesnt let down. The Under-paddles are great to keep your thumbs on the sticks where they belong.
