Really does give you an advantage in shooter games. Controller looks and feels premium! Love how the buttons from the original elite controller fit this, so buying just this core was a no brainer to me.

I've been using the Elite controller since it's first iteration and they never disappoint. The only reason I needed a new one is because I made the mistake of letting my son use the other and he raged in Fortnite and slammed it on the desk.

It’s amazing been using it for a couple of days and i love it, but if you are a casual gamer honestly I would say dont get it, I play casually maybe three times a week, and even thought it feels nice in hand, it doesn’t really do much of a difference than my regular xbox controller,.

First controller I bought was a defect. Went to return it and had to spend 20 minutes listening to the try to sell me a ridiculous priced plan for protection which I kept informing I did not want but still continued to pressure me. I ended up getting basic two year plan so I could get back to my day. Don’t pressure people to buy things they do not want. I understand upsell but the situation was ridiculous.

I love using this controller for campaign games or solo gaming or co-op gaming but for first person shooting or online gaming third person shooting I would prefer the regular control over this

Very versatile when it comes to helping with my gameplay and how I hold the controller when competing.

I love never needing to take my thumbs off of the thumbsticks. I solely use this controller for competitive shooter titles, and it works great! The customization is highly appreciated, I’ve tried many combinations already and will continue to experiement. I don’t personally get anything out of the different tension settings, though. The feeling of the controller is pure quality, from the weight, to all the buttons and triggers. I especially love the D-Pads, but for competitive shooters I have almost exclusively used the ‘plus’ D-pad. All-in-all, a way better pro controller than the Dualsense Edge, and on par with 3rd party pro controllers.

This controller is still holding strong since Christmas purchase. It is perfect and we have purchased multiple. My son has no complaints!

If you are looking for a solid controller this is the go to, also if you have an original elite controller and you break it or damage it the paddles thumb button are all cross compatible with this controller I give it a 9/10

This is my second one of these and i absolutely love it, they feel heavy and well made have had absolutely no issues with them

So far, the stick-drift hasn't killed the first one I've bought. The ability to configure and change the buttons to how you want is great. The mouse-button-click for the triggers are the best for me. And they are considerably cheaper than controllers with the same king of ideas/implementations. I do wish that Microsoft offered more colors than just 3, or the ability to change the faceplates to the color(s) that you'd want.
