Ease of Use
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this mainly for the paddle pack that came with it. Still works good, too!

Good value

I'll be buying more of these in the future.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While every controller eventually wears out the thumbsticks, this is by far the best controller ive ever used considering ive been playing on xbox since 2001 and ive even competed before where i would wear out thumbsticks every 3 months. This controller is for sure the best feeling controller and the thumbsticks lasted over a year on the first one i had. Not to mention all the features of thumbstick tension control, button customization, and trigger travel. I cant say enough good things about this controller. I only hope they continue to improve the durability of the thumbsticks even further.

Love this controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the first elite controller and it finally went out after 5+ years. This is perfect as I already had the paddles so this was a great value. Love this controller and would recommend to anyone.

When You Are Serious
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are the sort of person that even considers dropping nearly $200 on a controller then you know this is already for you. I owned and initially had a dislike of the Series 1 Elite, too heavy, too ugly, too battery dependent. That’s all gone. If they didn’t indeed save weight they did a better job of spreading it out. Battery life is now tied to an internal pack so be sure to get the warranty. Should anything happen in the rare instance of a bad battery you will be able to replace. Don’t worry about your settings, you can save 250 profiles for your controller. That’s likely more profiles than you have games (unless you’re the sort that already bought this controller). The new lighter weight and textured grip have yielded much improved ergonomics and better gameplay. The free app available wherever this controller connects is a very detailed look at what you can configure and save. The included charging stand and case are impeccably designed. Finally, the much lauded switch to USB-C allows me to connect the Series X|S regular controllers for updates.

Worth the investment over time
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will gladly pay twice as much for this because it is so sturdy. The regular controllers break after a year or two so it is worth the investment. I had the original elite for five years and this one is better in every way.

This is what the Ver. 1 Should have been
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been using this controller now for about a month. I love it and i also loved the first one. I got the Geek Squad Warranty on the first so i returned it for store credit and picked up this bad boy. First let me start off by saying that THANK GOD it has a internal battery build it. The first one didnt and they annoyed me, how are you gonna charge me over $100 for a controller and not have a battery pack. ANYWAYS, i like that the Ver 2 you can adjust the Tension on the sticks. I also like that the hair triggers, this is a game changer for FPS. The back panels on this ver are smaller than Ver1 (not much) and a different color. I enjoy mapping these to different buttons and i feel it gives me an edge when using them. That being said ...i got used to it and tried to use a regular controller it throws me off. Over all id say this is a buy if you have the extra money, you can probably get the same customizations with Scuff but i just prefer to get Xbox stuff. Also PLEASE get the geek squad Protection plan. The sticks started to go on my Ver1 and they gave me a brand new one no questions. I just had to purchase another geek squad plan for that one as well! Good Luck

Best controller I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great build quality and excellent battery life. I'm also thankful that you can easily remove the hair triggers from underneath as I have a tendency to accidentally hit them when playing. Comes with a nice little docking station too for charging. I feel they should release another version without the stand, hair triggers, extra sticks/D-pad, and case and it would drop the price significantly. The difference between this and the regular Xbox controller is so significant it seems there should be a product in the middle. In any case, this is simply the best PC gamepad you can buy right now however it DOES NOT come with the USB wireless adapter so you have to purchase that separately. I already had one so it wasn't a big deal for me but I can expect some people to be very upset when they pay that amount of money and then can't use it wirelessly on their PC.

Posted .Hey Wizard,
It's fantastic to hear that Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is the best controller you've ever owned. Did you know that your Elite 2 can also connect to Windows 10 PCs via Bluetooth without the need for a Xbox Wireless Adapter? Excellent Controller.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used to play on my pc. Had to buy a Xbox wireless receiver didn’t work with built in Bluetooth. So if using on pc you will have to buy one. But other than that, it works really good. A must buy. I have about 150 hours so far gaming, no problems.

Top tier high-end Elite controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part has worked exceptionally well since it was purchased. As of right now, a couple of the buttons are getting sticky like something is in them, but I've been careful about keeping it clean so I'm not sure why. Other than that, it's been a great purchase and would recommend / buy another if I need it to.

Worth money/investment.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent controller. Map paddles on bottom to any other button or remove them. Feels solid/dense, unlike classic controller that feels hollow/weighless. Worth the money.

GREAT! BUT Do Not Buy without GeekSquad Protection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the Elite controllers are far superior to the regular ones, they are still full of wearing parts, and prone to being dropped or mistreated. We had a teen boy in the house, and had the first version of the Elite controller, and so we got the GeekSquad protection thinking we wouldn't use it, but it's not that expensive so what the heck. I can not tell you how many times the GeekSquad plan has saved the day. I think that first series controller got replaced 3 times before the series 2 came out! Now that the series 2 was released, people are discovering problems with it. SO, that's even more reason to get that GeekSquad protection on it! I think this controller is like version 2 of series 2 in the Elite controller lineup or something like that, and they may have worked out all the problems, but I think it's still better safe than sorry. So I'd say get that GS protection on it, otherwise the Elite is a waste of money as it will most likely break at some point.
