Great controller. Because of the button mapping and paddles I was able to greatly improve response times in some games. Played numerous house and very very very minimal stick drift. The elite series controller are always my go to. Some say it’s a little heavy but to me I like the weight and doesn’t seem cheap.

My bf loves this controller! I buy him one every Christmas! Although it could probably last 2 years or more, my bf plays almost everyday. Multiple hours a day, and he sweats A LOT but it holds up quite well, especially when he gets mad and violently taps on the buttons quite often XD

This works perfectly. I upgraded to this because of the buttons on bottom. The only problem I have is... the buttons on bottom. They work so well that I keep them turned off so they don't get input from my handling the controller. It's good to know that they are there, should I decide to use them.

I have had this controller for 4 years or so now. The RB button no longer works, i have to press down on it harder to work and this ruins gameplay. Also, the rubber grip started to wear off. There were too many buttons and accessories and for me it wasn’t worth $180. Smaller parts would eventually break. I don’t recommend for casual gamers, you are better of buying the cheaper controller for $60.

This is the best controller ever I keep getting surprised by how many amazing features it has. Best controller ever. Would recommend highly to anyone. It even comes with a wireless charging stand and all of the attachments its so awesome.

This thing is so good it’ll make you realize you were the weak link all along. First off, the build quality is incredible. This isn’t just a controller; it’s a work of art. It feels premium in your hands—like holding the gaming equivalent of a luxury car steering wheel. The rubberized grip and weight balance make it clear this isn’t some run-of-the-mill gamepad. It’s like Xbox said, “Let’s make something so good, people will willingly eat ramen for a month to afford it.” The customization options are next-level. Adjustable thumbstick tension? Check. Swappable parts? Check. Hair-trigger locks that make you feel like a sharpshooting legend in Call of Duty? Double-check. I even mapped the paddles on the back for quicker actions, and now my reaction time feels borderline supernatural. (Okay, maybe not supernatural, but at least I can reload without taking my thumb off the stick.) The battery life is ridiculous. I gamed for an entire weekend without charging it, and it still had juice left. I started wondering if it runs on magic. And don’t even get me started on the carrying case with a built-in charger—it’s like Xbox is saying, “You deserve to feel fancy.” Is it expensive? Sure. But you know what? The moment you hold it, you won’t care. This isn’t just a controller; it’s an investment in happiness. The precision, the feel, the performance—it’s all worth every dollar. A solid controller for gaming, I like the interchangeable accessories and the charching station it comes with. It does lack some of the features from the new series x controllers but it is still a very good controller.

What can I say. It’s a controller. I had my gen 1 for 7 years before it finally broke. My niece stepped on it and snapped the bumper. Cracked right in the middle, I knew it was time. With peeling material and broken bumpers. We upgraded. I’m glad I did. It feels great when playing some COD. Highly recommend. 10/10

Loce the fact that i dont have to replace batteries all the time with this controller and in which, the internal battery last a while, thinking close to 20hrs before recharging if not longer. Enjoying the customization and button mapping for the extra slots.

The grip on the elite 2 is the best grip on a controller someone could ask for, the costumization is unlimited and very easy to set up and use. Obviously over time stick drift happens and one other down side is, the stick and buttons magnets seem to stop working as well, but overal best gaming controller i have used.

Don't mistake "Core" for "stripped-down" in terms of build quality. The moment you pick it up, you feel the heft and premium construction. The textured grips provide exceptional hold, ensuring it stays firmly in your hands during the most intense gaming sessions. The core components—the high-grade buttons, triggers, and hybrid D-pad—are all here and feel exceptional right out of the box.

I didn’t think I noticed much of a difference at first until I forgot to charge this controller, using my old controller felt like using a fisher price toy. This is such nice quality, the charge lasts so long, and it’s heavy in a good way. Weighty.

There's plenty of third-party accessories for this controller, so don't feel like you're missing out on anything and they can be had for less than buying the regular Elite controller. The only downside is that there's no way to easily replace it if there's stick drift. I wish it had Hall Effect joysticks or replaceable ones like another Edge controller for another company ;-), but that said, I still have the original Elite and it's working great and it's a few years old at this point. So I have no fear this will also pass the test of time!

Truly the benchmark for quality in gaming controllers. Solid, feels great, and thorough attention to detail. The triggers are long enough for racing games but can be shortened as well. I only wish they let you choose between the concave joysticks or convex like on Nintendo and Playstation. Concave never made any sense...

Microsoft gets a great review on this controller! Some really great improvements from my first gen Elite controller. My old paddles work perfect on this new series and it is now my go to controller.

This controller is fantastic. I was skeptical. The price is a bit steep. That said, the controller has some weight to it. It's study and the internal rechargable battery last A LONG time. Best controller I've ever owned.

So much better than the standard controller. Quality has always been solid. Have rarely had connection issues. Still the best controller on the xbox side of things, in our opinion. Highly recommended.
