This is a great idea from Microsoft. Controllers usually last about a year with heavy use, the Xbox elite seem to last longer than that. If yours wears out you can simply buy this swap you thumb sticks and back paddles and save a ton of money doing so. These are great controllers and provide the best bang for your buck, aftermarket scuff parts are also very easy to find. I use this on PC and love it. The only negative is that they do have a bit of stick drift right out of the box, my dead zone had to be set at .08 vs .03 for a brand new scuff, i'm not good enough for that to outweigh $ the savings.

Xbox controllers have always felt great, and this one builds on that. The sticks are good and even though there are reports of stick drift later, if you have the best buy protection you can easily swap them out!

Good controller, but tends to get stick drift fairly quickly.

This is my third of these controllers. My only complaint is that the other 2 still work great, except for the single zr button on each. To be fair though, they must have lasted hundreds of hours of gameplay each before breaking. These controllers do have a great quality feel though - much better than the basic controller my Xbox came with. Definitely worth the money!

Nice upgrade over my series 1. I bought the core because I still had all the accessories from my original. Everything matches and that’s the only difference between the 2. Love the new grips.
