Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller's high-quality build, excellent battery life, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate the customization options and the controller's overall feel and weight. However, customers are negative about the prevalence of stick drift issues reported by some users, as well as concerns about the durability of certain buttons and bumpers. Nice controller

Excellent Controller.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used to play on my pc. Had to buy a Xbox wireless receiver didn’t work with built in Bluetooth. So if using on pc you will have to buy one. But other than that, it works really good. A must buy. I have about 150 hours so far gaming, no problems.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller thus far after a few weeks has none of the problems the other controllers have displayed. Usually these guys have bumpers that stop registering, or face buttons that get sticky but this unit has had none of that. Hopefully it continues.

Elite
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great set of sticks and remapping is awesome. Have had a few of the elites over the years and the only downside is one of the bumpers is almost guaranteed to start going around the 15+ months mark.

Takes some getting used to
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall decent feel, takes some getting used to. Great mapping and good feel in the hands. I still think the joysticks are a bit odd but I’m used to it and happy with the added triggers

Good Controller
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have 2 of these and like them better than the standard xbox controller. Like the rubber grip and the ability to add the flipper buttons. Allows for some customization and just feels good in your hands.

Best Controller ever
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from my original elite controller to this one mainly because the grips on them were starting to fall apart. This controller is a bit heavier which in turn makes it feel nicer in your hands. This time around you won’t need a rechargeable battery pack as it’s all built into the controller and comes with a charging dock to lay on when not in use. My only concern with the controller is the fact that instead of having rubber grips on just the back side of the lower left/right controller like the previous model, it now has that rubberized grip texture on the front and the back. Although it feels great, I wonder how durable it will be. Hopefully they don’t start falling apart like the previous generation model. You may ask, is the controller worth it? If you’ll actually use it’s functions, swap out thumb sticks and would like full customization such as button mapping through the Xbox accessory app then I’d say, absolutely. I personally enjoy the feel, the trigger locks and customization options. I remapped my “Y” button to one of the four paddle triggers behind the controller which is super beneficial when playing certain games. My thumb can stay on a certain button on the front (X for example) while I can use another finger to control the paddle in the rear which I re-mapped to my “Y” button at the same time. You can also adjust tension to your thumb sticks which is a welcome addition as well. Overall, great product so far and definitely enjoy using it more than the standard controller. I highly recommend! Now, it’s up to you. Will you decide to get your hands on one of these?

A good controller with great software.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the controller works well. The paddles and extra thumb sticks that are included are a nice plus. Setting the controller up is incredibly easy. The best feature is battery life. I have been using this controller for a year and even while playing 15-20 hours a week I’ll never have to charge it more than once a week. The controller can also be used wired while it’s charging, so you don’t even have down time between charges. The only reason for a 4 star rating versus a 5 is because of stick drift. After maybe 3 months of regular use, I started getting stuck drift in the right analog stick. It has a warranty, and Microsoft will fix it, but you have to send off the controller for who knows how long. For a $200 controller, stick drift should not be an issue. And if it happens outside of the warranty window, you’re stuck with it. Microsoft at the very least needs to sell new pots for the analog sticks that you can replace yourself. With that being said, you can counteract the stick drift by changing your dead zone settings. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and will probably buy another one whenever this one finally bites the dust.

Mehh, still disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Customization is great. Stick drift is still a massive problem. The Light up logo and color ability is neat. But for over $100 and the LS/RS hasn’t lasted a few months.

Excellent!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for myself as a bit of a splurge. After getting some paddles for it, I can’t go back to a normal controller - it’s that good. This is truly one of those moments where better hardware makes you a better gamer (I mostly play shooters and my stats went up a significant amount after getting this). The grips on it (the black part) are a nice rubber textured bit that is not at all uncomfortable. You may get sweaty hands after a while, but that happens whether you play on any controller or a mouse and keyboard. Stick tension I havent really messed with (i like the sticks loose). Keep in mind too that the sticks are very sensitive out of the box, so maybe adjust that in the accessories software on your xbox. Great product, love it tons.

My favorite pro controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love never needing to take my thumbs off of the thumbsticks. I solely use this controller for competitive shooter titles, and it works great! The customization is highly appreciated, I’ve tried many combinations already and will continue to experiement. I don’t personally get anything out of the different tension settings, though. The feeling of the controller is pure quality, from the weight, to all the buttons and triggers. I especially love the D-Pads, but for competitive shooters I have almost exclusively used the ‘plus’ D-pad. All-in-all, a way better pro controller than the Dualsense Edge, and on par with 3rd party pro controllers.

Best xbox controller period
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best controller I have ever held, when I bought this it was a returned item and marked down by 60$. I found that the controller had its analog stick tightened which I fixed myself with no issues since. probably the cause of the return. It has a very nice metallic feel to the controller and feels sturdy the sticks feel just as high quality. It is very nice to have a charging doc and its battery life is insane coupled with the doc. If you remember to place it on the doc when done with it, it will never lose power on you. The modular nature of the buttons is nice and the back panel triggers are nice. I have programed these back triggers for additional inputs on the application reWASD on PC which I recommend if you wish to do so.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been hesitant to get this instead of a normal controller because of the cost. After getting it, I am upset that I hadn't done so sooner because I cannot imagine going back to a normal controller after this.
