Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller's high-quality build, excellent battery life, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate the customization options and the controller's overall feel and weight. Overall Improvement over Series 1
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used an Elite Series 1 controller for 6+ years before finally deciding to replace it just after Christmas last year. The Series 2 feels improved in ergonomics and refinement, and all functions feel more crisp in comparison to the Series 1. I've been using the Series 2 for almost nine months now, and it's showing no signs of cosmetic wear. The only minor issue I've noticed is that I have a little bit of play in the left joystick, maybe 2-3% of the overall travel. Typically this is not an issue due to there being a deadzone in most controls, however, I'm not able to get extremely precise with it. Overall, very happy with the purchase and will likely buy a Series 3 after a few more years of using this one.

Meh
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A better controller than the basic, but twice the cost with marginally improved durability. If you use custom configs, though, this is for you.

Happy customer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this controller, I didn’t t think there would be much difference, or enough difference between this and the regular controllers to warrant buying the better one but wow!!! It’s soooooo much better than the regular ones. The respon time is so much faster, and smoother controls. Love it

No brainer.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn’t really believe this controller could be much better than the stock version that comes with the Xbox X, but I was very wrong. This thing is smoother, faster, more comfortable and fun. It is far more responsive especially in multiplayer games than the original controller. Worth the $$

Works great feels great in my hands
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s really good it feels comfortable. I have no issues with it works great. The only problem I had that it doesn’t like work with Bluetooth with my PC but I think I have a bad Bluetooth receiver on my PC so that is not something I have against the controller I plug. It’s a braided wire that comes with it and it works really great. Mind you it is a cheaper version of the elite so it doesn’t come with the back paddle. You have to buy those separately, but I don’t actually use them much so I don’t worry about it.

Great Controller, but sticks still drift
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. The rubberized grips feel good in your hands and it has a very well constructed, sturdy feel to it. The battery life is very long. The case and the charging cable are well built and a very nice touch. I like the fact that Microsoft gave you different sticks to swap out with convex and concave tops, depending on your particular preference, as well as one thumbstick that is taller than the others, for more precise and quicker movement. And that they are attached via magnet is very cool and works great. Then there are the underside paddles for your fingertips, which at first are difficult to get used to, but once you do, help out so much so that you dont have to lift your thumb off the right stick when crouching, interacting, reloading etc. Game changing. The only reason I dont give this controller 5 stars is because around 11 months after owning, both sticks now drift. Do yourself a favor and buy the extended warranty.

Attention to detail and high level customization
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So many teviews pointing at the quality of the controller and I wont reapeat it, agreed. I have been using the elite series 1 and never did i though it was missing features, it has been great and zero issue (use adapter for playin with it on ps4 and switch whick makes gaming super enjoyable in every console). Then got the elite series 2 and was floored ny how much everything was improved. One detail I want to mention is the hair triggers function. In previous elite shortening the rhow of the trigger will make it by default that the maximum balues could not be reach (full trigger pull values) without adjusting in the software customization. Not a big deal nor a problem since all it takes is a quick adjustment in the trigger tab for customization. In the elite series 2 they made it so that when changing the total pull for the trigger (three option total), each option when changed automatically adjusts the reading from the trigger so that one gets full press galues even at the shortest throw. This is incredible attention to detail becuase it was absolutely acceptable to let the user go into the setting and adjsut it, but they decided to go the extar mile and make it happen on the fly. In short, is an epic controller for an epic console (Xbox X) and the upcoming new Xbox. Once you have you wont look back and because this controllers usually last a long time you will get your moneys worth.

Quality is solid and the adjustments you can make
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hardware - 5/5 Software - 3/5 Would have been an easy 5/5 overall but the software for windows pc is so lackluster. You have extra buttons on the back of the controller but you cant map them to anything other than standard controller buttons. Even on xbox you can make them open apps or toggle mic etc. Makes no sense they wouldnt expand that functionality on the pc with hot keys or mouse clicks etc. The whole reason i bought it was to use the back buttons for discord push to talk and mute/deafen buttons so when i play games using the controller i dont have to push a button on my keyboard while holding onto the controller. I did eventually get it to work but i had to buy a 3rd party app to do it because microsoft has limited the functionality of what could be super useful macro keys or programmable buttons. Quality is solid and the adustments to thumbsticks and triggers are well designed.

Better than Scuf
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this controller for about 3 weeks nlw with no issues at all. I have also owned at least two scuf controllers and each scuf controller had issues at least 1 week aster use. This controller sensitivity is excellent and the adjustable triggers makes it great for Call of Duty and Warzone. The back paddles uses an app to configure them how you would like and is a very easy to use. This controller quality wise is better than any scuf or console controller i have ever used. I use this for my PC and dont own an Xbox Series X or S although for PC this controller is a beast. For quality this controller beats anything out right now. I know that PS is coming out with its own controller with back paddles, but from early reports is going to be significantly more expensive than this controller. If the Elite controller ever starts experiencing issues, i may give the PS controller a try.
