Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller's high-quality build, excellent battery life, and comfortable grip. Many appreciate the customization options and the controller's overall feel and weight. However, customers are negative about the prevalence of stick drift issues reported by some users, as well as concerns about the durability of certain buttons and bumpers. Best Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a Playstation player I was skeptical when choosing a controller to play games on my PC, but when I gave the xbox elite a chance I was not disappointed, I highly recommend and encourage anyone in the market to follow my decision.

Top tier
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely worth the upgrade if you are playing FPS titles. Quality is top tier, however the grips are still not the best. Microsoft should take a look at using similar material that is used on the Scuff controllers.

I like
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good controller, paddles can be swapped out by the scuff ones and are pretty useful. For the price compared to others not a bad buy.

Was a surprising gift
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife surprised me with this controller, after my Elite Series 2 right bumper took a crap on me. My only complaint is that the A button is a little stubborn. Other then that I really like this controller.

Got a dud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pre Ordered as soon as it was announced, waited months for the release, and the right thumbstick jams... All other functions worked. The paddles are wayyy smaller on the Series 2 compared to the original, But this controller overall feels better. Also the rubber grip wont peel off version 2. The front and back shell are textured now, vs glued on rubber grips. Going to exchange for another one.

Best controller on the market!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used the Original Elite and the Series 2 for years. By far the best controller on the market for me. Everything is extremely high quality, and i believe there is no comparison. Even the weighted feel, feels premium and durable. Its hard to find paddles on other controllers that are as comfortable as the Elite, especially with 4 paddle. So much customization you can do to give you every gaming advantage.

Best Controller Period
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is hands down the best controller ive ever held/used. It beats out anything playstation, nintnedo, even third parties have to offer. Rubberized grip around the fronts and back so your hands will never slip, customizable back paddles for FPS/Racing games is a must, three different profiles that can be saved for stick sensitivity and more. Also really bice that it comes with an extremely durable case that has a hard shell on the outside with a magnetic charging stand and awappable sticks on the inside. I also bought the warranty just in case but i take care of my stuff so we’ll see if i end up needing to replace them. So far so good.

Wonderful Controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller's ergonomics are exceptional, particularly the macro buttons, which facilitate complex command inputs in fighting games. Pairing with my computer was seamless, eliminating any configuration complexities. The weight and grip are ideally balanced and comfortable.

Would recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think these are a great alternative to the Elite Pro. If you're just looking for a nice rechargeable controller with the ability to upgrade what you choose. Still, the Pro has all the bells and whistles and that nice case! I doubt you'll be disappointed with either/or.

Nice for the price
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to take the remote back the 1 st time due to a bad battery pack and wouldn’t hold a charge. But the second remote has been perfect. Color is cool compared to the all black elite controller. Would definitely recommend. is a bit heavy but no need to replace batteries. And the sticks can be replaced with shorter or taller sticks.

Don't waste your money or time.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Stick drift, buttons breaking from simple use (triggers and peices rattling) all the common issues from a classic xbox controller but in a more expensive package. Go buy a scuff controller with Hall Effect joysticks and mechanical buttons instead.

Game-Changer Controller for Apex Legends!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just grabbed the Microsoft Elite Series 2 controller and it’s been amazing for my Apex Legends sessions! The build is super solid, and it feels premium in my hands. What really stands out are the paddles at the back. They make a huge difference in fast-paced games like Apex. I can jump, reload, and do all sorts of moves without taking my thumbs off the sticks. It’s been a game-changer for sure, making everything more responsive and upping my game. The battery life is great too, lasting through even the longest gaming marathons. If you’re big into games like Apex, this controller is a must-have!

Ok product
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great and sturdy, a few things that would need improvements would be a removable joy stick because they seem to loosen pretty bad and the tightening sometimes its either too tight or too loose

Not sure it’s worth the price tag
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this for Call of Duty but it’s not much more useful to me than a standard core controller. I only use 1 paddle for jumping/climbing. The deadzones need to be set at least 0.08 for the drifting to stop (this is a major issue in games where you can’t change the deadzone values.) Having all 4 paddles on is extremly uncomfortable and you’re bound to accidentally reload or swap weapons in a gun fight. Good news is they are removable. I have already had bluetooth issues with it on PC so I keep it plugged in. The trigger locks are kind of cool especially for semi auto weapons. If you find a use for all the features comfortably, this will work for you. I will probably be returning this in January.

Great now, only time will tell
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a light ‘gamer’ with an obsession for new hardware. Compared to the in-box controller, the XE2 is a no-brainer. Compared to the XE1, things get a little closer. Aesthetically, the E2 looks better imo. Maybe it’s just because it’s different than the first gen... who knows. The feel... Feeling the controller in hand is everything I expected, and wanted. The internal battery makes the back less-crammed. The triggers feel bitter-smooth. The analog sticks, d-pads, paddles, etc are all great. The paddles are smaller and this leads to a better feel and less accidental hits... EXCEPT when switching the trigger ‘pull’ switch from its lowest (closest to paddles) setting. I’ll get used to it. The analog stick tension customization is cool, though I wish a tool wasn’t needed, but I get it. Kind of. The profile switcher is to my liking, as is the USB-C input so I’m not constantly flipping it back and forth to get it to fit the port (first world problems). The included dock is a nice touch and has magnets for proper seating. I love magnets... The case is nice and the port is cool, I guess. If you aren’t going to customize the controller via the Xbox accessories app (or whatever they call it), then this controller isn’t for you. Hope this helps someone out there!
