Instantly you feel the qaulity of this controller! The response on this compared to the regular ones is insane! I noticed just playing NHL22 the response.. Great options as you can have 3 profiles and then the default one. The triggers are awesome! You can customize your sensitivity and comes with a carry case as it should for $180 which is the only CON about this as no controller should cost that.. Now i always wanted this but never wanted to spend the money but the wifey got this as an Xmas gift :) So if you have the money to spend go for it... now probably get the 2 year warranty next week as she didn't buy it but based off my experience on regular controllers might just do so since this is a high end controller...Impressive upgrade from the last one! I love this little controller. The grips feel nice, and I love that you can set the triggers to different settings. Makes a difference when playing shooters.

I had the first elite controller and it finally went out after 5+ years. This is perfect as I already had the paddles so this was a great value. Love this controller and would recommend to anyone.

My grandson dropped it the first day, and buttons fell off -- but the surprise was when the buttons easily reattached magnetically.

I really enjoy using my Elite 2 controller. It is literally a game changer. Everything about this controller is awesome. The price for a pro style gaming controller is great. The paddles on the back really make a difference when playing an FPS. I have recommended the Elite 2 controller to several friends and they have all told me that it has changed the way that they play the game. I would recommend getting an Elite 2 controller if your in the market for a new controller.

This control is solid in so many ways. Great accessories, feels great in hand which we come to expect from x box. But the "pro" functions set this above its peers and make it worth the money. Triggers are smooth and quick for fps but still reaponsinsive for driving games. The ability to tighten thumbstick tension is a gamechanger. The back paddles are comfy and let you keep thumbs on sticks so you get to play better. All in all id buy this again 100/10 times

I think this is a great controller, until it breaks. I've had about 10 of these and the series 1 in total. BUY THE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY. It's worth every penny. The usual things that break are the left bumper button and usb connection if you choose to plug it in. It's fantastic until it breaks, I just with the quality control was better on these, but I love the feel, the weight and customization compared to a stock xbox controller

Not a bad controller. Has some weight and was good condition for a return. Only has one bad back paddle button i just found out when i started using the paddles. No instructions with it but found them online. Will bring it in at some point for the button fix with geek squad when im in the area as its hours away to closest bestbuy. Price for these controllers are ridiculous new thats why i went used with the warranty.

So I purchased the Elite Series 2 controller, last year when it first came out, I actually swapped it for my original Elite controller (I had gone through a few of those as the rubber on the back came off them easily but that's another story). I was taken aback by the fact that the controller has a built-in battery. This is good in theory but the long term ramification is that eventually, the battery won't hold a charge as long as it once did, and eventually, it won't hold a charge at all. This is problematic since you have no way of swapping the battery out as you could in any other controller. But, the reason I'm writing this review now is that I'm having an issue that so many other people are having, my Series 2 is starting to have button response issues. More specifically the right bumper is barely registering my pressing it and sometimes doesn't seem to acknowledge it at all. I have an extended warranty with Best Buy but they are unable to replace it due to the fact that they don't have anymore. They suggested that I contact Microsoft about replacing the controller, but with a mere 90-day limited warranty, that ensures that by the time most people have issues like mine, they will be well outside of the manufacturer's warranty period. It's a real shame because the controller when it works is pretty good, the weight is satisfying and when everything works it's a very responsive controller. But I can't recommend the controller knowing that it probably won't even make it a full year with standard use.
