After a little more than a year,
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a little more than a year, I am still loving my Elite II's, and this is my 3rd purchase that I just bought! Over a year a ago, i bought my first Elite series II Black with the carrying case, charger, and additional thumbsticks. I thought it might be too heavy for continuous gameplay cuz its got some heft compared to my old Xbox 360 controller which is my favorite to use on pc games over my ps3 controller. But after using it for awhile, you do definitely get used to it. In fact, when i tried to use my old controller i now found the 360 controller too light! So 6 months ago, i bought a second one to replace the 360 controller that i had for coop since my friends wanted to use my Elite II. Then recently i bought a Gaming Laptop that of course needed it's own! I needed only the core since i already had 2, so the core purchase worked out well. Plus they are interchangeable with there parts and colors! Would definitely recommend!!

Extremely customizable controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Completely love the feel of this controller. Easy to hold. Very heavy compared to others. Works great for cross platform with the eight bit duo. If you have a program properly to be recognized as the different series, Xbox controller works well for Sniper games.

Great controller for small hands
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works like a charm. Tested with Windows PC, SteamDeck, and NVIDIA shield. Flawless connection. If you want to enable the levers you will have to buy the additional set for the paddles. This is only the controller itself. Works well with small hands, I am somewhat doubtful if this is very comfortable with large hands.

Quality of life for FPS
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've really been enjoying this controller. The rechargeable battery was something I'm glad this came with. I like the old 360 thumb sticks which this comes with an assortment of different ones. The D-pad pictured in the advertisement is nice for fighting games but you can switch that out too. The only real issue I've had is with the paddles on the bottom. You'll need to train your muscle memory to accept them. Overall, they are the better way to play. Do yourself a favor and disable the x y a b buttons in the menus on the XBox/PC. The controller is heavy compared to the standard ones. It's solid and the grip is awesome. You'll need to relinquish that death grip most people play with in order to get accustomed to the paddles. Another thing is that the paddles are great for reassigning buttons like the Thumbstick - To - Run assignment most Call of Duty games have. Sea of Thieves does this. Again it's relearning how to walk, run, and jump. When you finally get it, your K/D ratio will increase dramatically, ie you are no longer taking your thumbs off the movement sticks to hit buttons. Some of the more advanced features are not explained like cording several buttons together for special commands.

My new favorite
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would have to be my favorite controller I’ve ever purchased. Been playing on Xbox since the original and went through many different controllers. It does take time to get used to the paddles if anyone hasn’t had them before but if you don’t like them, they’re easy to remove.

Almost Perfect
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the original elite controller for years. However, like all video game controllers, it has lost its responsiveness. I was so excited to see that Microsoft was bringing out a new model and preordered it immediately. The new version has great grip and even has grip on the triggers. Also, the new version has three trigger lengths instead of only two that were on the original. My only complaint is that the controller only comes with one tall stick. If you want both sticks to be tall, you can purchase the Kontrol Freak stick extenders.

Good but could be better for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these remotes just wish Microsoft would’ve fixed the stick drift issues these tend to get. Doesn’t help that I’ve seen break downs of the remote showing the same joystick design in both this premium remote and their basic remotes.
